Thanks everyone
All done ! My solicitor was waiting for sellers solicitor. She is away for weekend .
Anyway , here's what I've seen so far : No mortice lock on either door!
A note from the seller, telling me the gas is a key meter . ( I will check that I read that correctly ) so, that means , it is different from the dual fuel I'm used to doing .
The bathroom is manky as hell! The taps on the bath/shower are just filthy and need to go.
In the kitchen , the fridge freezer is manky . The cupboards are manky .
The carpet is fine . I was ( and may still do) gonna, buy new carpet in a more vibrant colour and use the present carpet as underlay .
Most of the painting I have to do, looks easier than expected.
In the hallway is a child's bicycle . Live and let live etc.
I'm probably gonna leave the living room as the living room and not swap rooms. This is because I wouldn't know where the telly goes.
Now I have become way too much out of condition , a gym will be
joined. There isn't enough room for me, let alone a Pilates machine:rotfl:
So , I've purchased a barrel and a mortice lock. Need to find a locksmith for the mortice lock . The door hasn't got a space so hopefully, the locksmith can put in from scratch .
Homebase haven't any roller kits that are any good . B&q only do collection , so I may do that .
That's it for now0 -

Thanks again
Just had another wander over there. Trying to get a feel for the place .
Only a couple of people saw me .
One beardy guy with multiple tattoos never noticed me, but he lives opposite . A fairly attractive girl looked straight in and saw me .
A couple of drivers , and a delivery guy saw me .
Making lists of what needs doing . Definitely new kitchen and bathroom . Hopefully Easter will work in my favour .
The rest I've already mentioned .
Just deciding where to put my bass guitars and iPads . Was initially gonna be the boiler room .
Seeing the landlady around 5pm tomorrow . Seeing my local friend sometime tomorrow . Some help and a couple of ciders are promised .0 -
