I'm doing an accounting qualification - only have four exams left (out of 14) so I'm taking a leap and sitting all four in Dec. As per usual I haven't really done any work for it yet though... How about you lippy, what do you study?

I'm currently studying a procurement qualification. It's 5 exams over the course of a year but my first exam is in November

Really need to get stuck into my revision now. Will tackle it some more this weekend.

Had a lovely weekend at the in-laws' with lots of family around and time spent walking in the countryside or in the garden. It's always amazing to have so much green around when you're used to living in a concrete jungle!

OH's granny was kind enough to give us some money towards the car repairs, so at least that's lessened the blow a bit.

Mortgage got paid today and nearly the same amount got slapped back on in interest (sigh) but at least my daily interest must have gone down a tiny bit as this month's interest was 3 or so pounds less than last time. Did I mention baby steps? :D

Mine is the same, I paid £5.81 which was the difference of my dd payment and the interest charged-hopefully this will have made a baby step difference to mine to!

Yikes that must be so frustrating! All the more reason for us to OP though. Do you have a pretty high interest rate as well then?

In other MFW news, OH left for the rest of this month this morning so the plan is to save as much as I can on groceries this month. For one, I'll be doing a dry November (well, I won't be buying anything home anyway, but there are two birthdays on this month) and I'll be clearing out the freezer and cupboards to eat what's left in there. It's a bit of a trek without a car (I can't drive) but the plan is to also pop into one of the German low cost shops this Saturday to stock up with cheaper food.

Have been on an exam revision course so far this week so haven't been able to pack a lunch but have at least stuck to a £3 Sainsbury's meal deal. Shame about the coffee I have to buy in the afternoon to keep myself awake with though!

Had a good look through my cupboards and freezer this evening and it's ridiculous the amount of food I already have! 6 opened packets of spaghetti anyone? Not to mention another 5 types of pasta on top of that... Thank goodness I wasn't planning on having a low carb month :D

Got my lunch packed for tomorrow at least and my dinner ready for tomorrow, as it's time for another evening course so won't have time to cook then.
