    sounds like some good reading!

What made some people into successes they are ? - Nappy Hill was probably the first to understand what makes some people rich or successful and why some never get there. He realised that people CAMN cross the gap and get the "rich" magic - he points out example after example and all the motivationjal speakers who followed him lean heavily on his work as does the "Hypnosis stuff" of Paul McKenna and NLP. Multiple Income streams suggests that there are other ways of getting an income than going to work or putting in endless hours - such as Writers royalties, where you do the work once and teh income keeps coming and rental incomes from property.

I made a whole 10p on Qmee today.

I've got some ebay listings finishing tonight - I'd not had any bids (to be honest it was stuff I didn't think would sell, but I listed it anyway and was planning to take it to the CS tomorrow). Anyway someone's just bid £1.49. I'll make about a quid after fees but every little helps.

One of my other items is doing quite well but doesn't finish til next week.

I made £20 on TCB when my sister took out contents insurance (she's just moved). However I am going to give her £10. For some reason she can't be bothered signing up herself even though I tried to refer her as the refer a friend bonus would have given me £15 anyway! I won't count that til it's paid though.

I like the idea of an Ebay sub-challenge! I've installed the ebay ap on my phone and it makes a "cat ching" noise (like Arkwrights till in Open All Hours) - I get very excited every time it goes off. Must remember to put my phone on silent at work tomorrow. :D

    right Challengers updated.

.............. I use chrome and it has a habit of shutting down the tab whilst in middle of updateing and then i have to start again.

Looks like we need some mini challenges going on to get people in the right frame of mind and give ideas on how to earn money.

a few of my friends have asked about things i do to earn money, so am going to make a list, feel free to join in with your lists, as it all helps.

If I've got something big to put on a web forum, I usually do it in word, then copy and paste it so the browser can't do that and the website can't time me out !

It's not really a mini - challenge, but a suggestion - do we all know that a rental of your spare room under the "Rent a room" scheme, is tax free and easily pays £10 a day - EVERY day without you having to do any work for it ? - Then you could up your pledge to £20 :D
  • Please count me in again this month, going to try for £10 a day this time

I had a lodger once and it was fine until he lost his job and couldn't pay, then it all turned a bit nasty. Perhaps the problem was that we got on quite well and became friends, and I think he expected that as a friend I'd help him out... I did to an extent but couldn't afford to give him free lodgings, feed him and let him run up my utility bills. Never again!
