Just got back from picking up OH from a drop-off point in the middle of nowhere after his few days away. Should have come home Friday night but they had to change plans at last minute. Didn't worry me as I had the chance of spending yesterday in a super-clean and tidy house (rushed round like a whatever it is that rushes round manically) on Thursday and Friday doing more cleaning in a day than I usually do in a [STRIKE]month[/STRIKE] year:o in preparation for his nibs' return. Not sure I'll be able to go back to sleep now, might stay up in my clean and tidy lounge and get some reading done;). Shame it's too dark to open the curtains and enjoy the sparkling windows too. Must do this deep-cleaning lark more often, the results outweigh the effort:rotfl:

No money-making as such to report but I certainly saved some in a way when OH was away as I could please myself over meal selection:T and ate lots of pasta concoctions (my favourite:j) which OH hates and will only eat under protest. He'll only eat what he considers 'proper food' ;), although he'll eat curries if there's plenty of meat in them. I must have saved a fortune this week but can't count it as the food was already in my cupboards and freezer from yonks ago. Used up a lot of bits and pieces and enjoyed every mouthful:rotfl:. Back to the meat, veg and gravy again now:(

    Have a great Sunday, everyone:beer:.
  • Good to read the freezer saga is over lynne :j

Sold an item yesterday paid by Paatpul - should net about £6.90 and a first bid on one to raise £16 ish - but won't count that until the ££'s arrive.

The £40 girl is still dithering :rotfl: So I can't write the BiN yet.

Interesting to look at the times of the postings - You good people are up and about when most are tucked up in their self indulgent beds !

I had a wasted day yesterday without a tablet, phone, kindle, broke son's tablet so when I got home was up late again after everyone has gone to bed trying to catch up and failing on daily tasks.

DH's iphone is playing up. The fault is one that the genius bar tecs at apple have never seen and neither have I! but I had to spend all day there versus the cost of returning home to drive back out and park and find way to appointment at 2.15.... for the phone to be deemed unrepairable and now I have to argue with the phone provider to replace it under consumer law.... which will be interesting as apple product and apple don't replace under consumer law....

so am having a real fun weekend with many late nights

carbootcrazy my DH is same, meat and veg man. I prefer pasta and stuff. He likes to eat other things but not pasta. It is a pain as so expensive providing meat everyday for 2 of them, DS because he is growing boy with finicky tastes. Me am happy with vegetarian pasta dishes.
