If it doesn't work I will try to get in touch with honda.
Point is that if honda says that the car doesn't have sensors,BT and yet the dealer advertised them, don't I still have grounds for claim?

    Yes but a different claim.

IF that is the case and the car doesn't have them you need to have a think about what remedy you would like:

Dealer to fit them (highly unlikely)
Refund & hand the car back
    Partial refund

He said that it doesn't have sensors, that's not true as the car has sensors on both (front, rear) sides of the car.

Not quite true ... the bumpers have indents to cater for sensors mounted behind them. This does NOT necessarily mean that sensors have been fitted ... the bumpers will be mass-produced standard parts.

In that case I am sorry to say that Section 75 of The Consumer Credit Act offers you or your father no protection.

That is because there needs to be a linked 'chain' of lender, borrower and supplier. This chain is broken in your situation.

This Financial Ombudsman's case study may help to explain that.

The car has a parking sensor buttons inside which activates those sensors,it does also have a dashboard with the car symbol and it should show which sensors gets activated when i get close to something.
However, these sensors don't work. I will need to check the specs using the VIN number and then check what the advertisement says if I can find it.

Is it possible to check specs of a car online?

It will depend whether they're included as standard or not. Even the dealers manual will usually say something like "*only available on some models". If the features are purchased (when the car is brand new) at additional cost its unlikely you're going to find anything indicating what your dads car in particular has included - unless it was specifically detailed in the paperwork somewhere.

Your dad could still try a chargeback through his bank. But they might reject his claim unless he can evidence a breach of contract (ie that it doesn't match its description).
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride

Interesting. Will that include optional extras?

yes this is what's worrying me. The dealer verbally said that the car has BT and the sensors were listed in the Ad but sadly he didn't save it. I'm gonna go home and check if I can get a cached version of the ad. hopefully that should be a good evidence.
