  • correction , a 15 yr old child has been paid to say he hacked talk talk , this has now calmed people down .
  • 3 times in 8 months, I did a trawl of their forums yesterday and for most of this year customers have been clicking off the unsafe warning and going into their account anyway - helped by their own on site so called techies advising them to do so. Security costs money but with 1.8 bi££ion earnings last year they can afford to protect their customers better starting in the very least with a security certificate that works and does not encourage numpties to disregard the browser warnings. Slack GOV consumer protection rules and slack GOV fines of 1/2 mi££ion maximum don't help, in fact they are laughably inadequate AT&T was fined £17 million so our 1/2 a mi££ion is affordably low and encrypting their customer's data should also be a minimum in legal requirements.
