OP, I'm still coping fine with MS Money Sunset edition, I currently have 17 live accounts of various sorts plus the records of many more that have been closed over the years.

Am waiting delivery of my new computer which has Win 10 as its operating system. I have the original installation disks for Microsoft Money 2003 (deluxe edition, I think.)
I've read so many posts on various sites, but am still unclear whether my installation disks will work or not in my new computer. Could someone help me with the definitive answer to this question.
Also, if didwork, I could start again, from statements etc I already have printed off. However, I have purchased a caddy for my old HDD, which has, I think a back up on it. Also have a Western Digtal My Passport, which backed up my files until old computer died. Again I think Money was a section on this - certainly my docs were, so may have some of my info. Would I be able to use either if these to get my data back?

MS Money should work with win 10, as reported in https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5301213. If your installation CDs won't work for any reason, you could use the download agrinnal mentioned earlier.
As to moving your data: I simply make a backup to Dropbox, and can restore the backup on any PC that I have Dropbox installed on. You could also make the backup to a USB stick or other media if that suits you better. Although it sounds as if your old PC is dead and you are unable to create a backup? In which case, I would recommend you make backups to cloud storage in future, just in case your PC packs in again.
Please report back about your experience.0 -
I can confirm that Money does work fine with Windows 10, at least for the first 2 days since upgrading. It was a download in 8.1 before that, with data migrated from a Win 7 computer (and before that XP, and originally from Quicken in a much earlier version of windows, maybe 3.11).0

That's not anything like MS Money, its something totally different. It's an account aggregator that makes logging into multiple accounts a lot easier. An account aggregator got its use if you have multiple accounts but the FD implementation isn't as good as the native product it is based on, accountunity (which will soon have a mobile version, too).0 -
I use Moneydance: http://infinitekind.com/download-moneydance-personal-finance-software0

I've been using MoneyWiz for a few years now. MoneyDance for a few years before that. iBank before that. Probably something else in a few years. Key lesson is making sure you understand how to migrate to new platforms as you move to one. Otherwise you'll be like swathes of people who run Windows 8/10 just to access a decade old version of MS Money.0

Really? Do you have any statistics (that you haven't made up on the spot) to justify this claim?0
