Ah but Ace Money costs money whereas continuing with MS Money costs me nowt.... (especially important in light of my portfolio's recent performance :rotfl:)

I'll give the free trial verson a spin though, especially as they indicate they are developing an iPad version

    I just use a spreadsheet :)

How does your spreadsheet update your share and fund prices?

How does your spreadsheet reconcile your accounts?

How does your spreadsheet produce reports (numeric / graphic)?

How does your spreadsheet cope with dozens, and even hundreds, of accounts?

How does your spreadsheet reconcile transactions with your bank and investment accounts?

How does your spreadsheet make itself available on all the devices you use?

How does your spreadsheet backup itself?

I am not saying your spreadsheet can't do those things - I just wonder how it does do it.

It can all be done, obviously, but you need to put the effort into creating all the sheets, reports, formulas etc etc etc. It strikes me as a heck of a lot easier and cheaper to just use a ready-made spreadsheet, such as MS Money............................
