  • I gave my deposit to state agent and then deposit was passed over to my landlady so who is responsible to secure and who should i send my letter to ?

    Your contract was with the landlord, she was responsible for protecting the deposit. Send you letter to her.

    Your landlady is responsible for your deposit; read G_M's advice. It kinda refers to landlords throughout.

  • I had text message conversation with my LL which didn't go well, "she called me pig in the end" I was hoping she would pay me 150 if I somehow tell her she was wrong deducting my deposit and also she didn't even sent me receipts of work which was carried out, i have reminded out and she said it was sent but not received.

    So i ll be demanding 150 plus compensation. Do i need to mention this on letter that now i am demanding compensation ? also how do i stamp my letter to her as advised by pixxie5740

  • No inventory report was filled when i was moving in. I didn't even meet my LL till a year later.

    Does, "Write to your landlord (ink, paper, stamp)" sound like send a text message?

    Stamp, a postage stamp. Good old snail mail. Get proof of postage.

    Send it by 1st class post from a post office (NOT text, email, carrier pigeon) to the landlord's address provided (usually on your tenancy agreement) "for serving notices". Ask the post office for 'proof of posting' when you send it. Do not send it recorded delivery or 'signed for'.
