Helen, i have put my number in my signature, so it'll be easier for you to keep track for me. Thanks :)

I sold another few things on ebay, so am at £850 now :)

I have 2 more things to sell and then thats it. I'll list them this week, to end on Friday. God knows what I'll do to save extra money then :rotfl: I'm sure I'll find something!

I have just managed to write an inventory of all the food i have, so i hope to save some £'s in the next few weeks by eating through what i already have instead of buying more.

    Thank you, DreamerHelen!
    That means a lot.

I recently broke up with my partner on Friday...
he pretty much sponged off me for money and it got to a point where I couldn't afford to keep using my emergency money to cover myself until I got paid next...thats why i had to keep starting over.
I couldn't deal with the sickness and worry of running out of money.
So hopefully now I'd have more money to stash away & enjoy in the future.

This month I may not be able to save an extra £100 because i'm struggling already this month
    (got paid less)

    Good luck to everyone

Sorry to hear about you breaking up with your partner PP, i had a similar experience in regards to having a partner who relied on me for money a lot, even when i didnt have much myself.
  • Hi Helen, can you update me to £2511 please, it will mean a lean 2 weeks til payday but I can do this! Tho my daughter has just told me she has lost her specially made sports mouthguard which is infuriating :mad:that's another £20 quid then :(

I'm feeling a LOT better this morning....thank goodness.....Yesterday was a bit rough.....but I think I just needed to re-charge my Batteries as I was just so unbelievably tired and drained....So I've had plenty of rest now and feel much better for it :)

Please update my total to £194.19.

Despite the recent ups and downs, I have managed to add to both my 'funds'.

I will however, be spending a big chunk of it to pay for my silver wedding anniversary next year, so I have a good reason to save, save, save.
