Horses and gambling are a no no....

I've even considered something like sponsoring a child or an animal more than the standard £3-5 per month but I'm not sure how that would be received...my other thought is that I suggest perhaps we make a donation to charity in mums honour following her death but somehow I dont think that will sit well with my sis...

I have quite often suggested no presents but she really does refuse to listen

By the sound of it this problem is a recurring one that'll happen again so I'd be very strong & tell her how you feel & why. If she won't listen I'd maybe write her a letter explaining. That way she'd hopefully mull over it a few times & realise how strongly you feel. Gift giving should be fun not torture. Our family stopped it quite a few years ago at my request, it's much easier.
You could possibly suggest instead of gifts you all went out together.
(A friend has just bought some kick boxing lessons for a difficult recipient!)
    Good luck, I don't envy you x

Have had my confirmation of JL event, no mention of nibbles, just says complimentary drink and festive entertainment.

    Does everyones say the same?

That's cause you're stressed. It also depends what you've been doing & if you've just eaten. Hope they get you sorted quickly x

Yes! Wondering if it's worth the trouble? Which store are you going to?

Ooh I have taster evening at Table table tomorrow. :D

Also got email to say visit twice before 21st November and get 2000 points added (£20 worth).

Somehow I don't think tomorrows visit will count towards this. :rotfl:

Poole.....and you? I was thinking the same. It's only a home store so not sure what they can tempt me to buy.
