Good luck Nanny;)
Yes but them courgettes were same price?
Yes the same price. The supermarket said the packed ones (that worked out cheaper) didn't sell as well but Hugh didn't feel it was a fair comparison as the twin pack that worked out cheaper looked older and were deteriorating.
I have experienced more than once at home buying satsuma, lemons in those net bags and taking one lot out and leaving another in it's packaging and those have gone off before the loose ones. I wondered if the netting had anything to do with it. Am I making sense.0 -

:rotfl::rotfl:So. People generally pay over the odds:rotfl:.Yes the same price. The supermarket said the packed ones (that worked out cheaper) didn't sell as well but Hugh didn't feel it was a fair comparison as the twin pack that worked out cheaper looked older and were deteriorating.
Ok. May be a fair thing.
But - people do though: they pick up individuals and packs are cheaper or buy small bags of vegetables when larger ones are cheaper or pick up items that look cheaper in their chosen store when a competitor is much cheaper on another pack size...etc... ...
:rotfl: (...And then get a comp. comparing to the competitor's much more expensive price on the pack size they bought and think they've saved:doh:.):wave:
