Strangely - I have one leg 2 cm longer than the other - it has only recently been discovered so has caused some long term problems in my hip/spine. It is too late to wear heightened shoes as it would cause more problems now, but they may help your son x
I hadn't considered applying for dd2, she been having cbt since July but very early days. This is all new to me so I feel like I have been wading through mud for months, I thought I understood what she was feeling but sitting in on the sessions really opened my eyes to how difficult she finds day to day stuff. I have a lovely support worker who might be able to advise me further.
Ds2 sees an orthotist as he has insoles for fallen arches. The physio has asked them to check his leg length at his next appointment so he may get something if they think it will help. These things must get missed a lot as no one ever measured his legs before and we've seen umpteen docs and other professionals. Hopefully we can get him sorted to avoid the problems you're having nowHe also has problems with balance and coordination, gross and fine motor skills issues too - all common with asd I've been told. We had a second stair rail fitted for him a few weeks ago as he finds stairs tricky and scary, he still does one at a time. It has made him feel much safer :T

Do you have welfare rights who would support you to make an application or CAB. I think you would have to argue that circumstances have changed though.......:A
I was convinced we wouldn't get any dla TM, it came through within 3 weeks though which really surprised me. I did have doctors letters, school reports and assesments going back years though. The paediatrician is going to see him again, said she will squeeze him in as there is a long wait normally. I think I'll see her first so I have more of an idea what they come up with...if anything. He was awarded low rate mobility before the physio report which states muscle weakness and different leg lengths.
Thanks both of you :A0 -

I mentioned to them that they were 37p for a pack of four and something like 60p for a single, last I saw of them I think they had more packs than me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
We really don't get through many, when they were in the Express for 50p a pack I only got 5 and they lasted ages, but it is winter now and they are not so likely to melt :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
What an idiot previously, buying one at a time:wall::rotfl:.0 -

Thanks I bought an mandco voucher with a free £5 spend a couple of weeks ago. The voucher was groupon £10 for £20 voucher so if you see something you like pop over to groupon and see if voucher is still there first.
All my xmas shopping has been done and have a fair amount of fizz so will not be hunting out the local ish one. Still waiting for a moving date and dreading mum seeing the full extent of my stash. Still remember dad hunting under the stairs for a j 20 one night and convincing himself I was an alcoholic. Luckily he saw the funny side.
Off to dd's tomorrow. Babysitting while she goes to a posh easyjet 20th birthday party but she can't drink as we leave for airport at 5 am Wednesday for our trip to Disney land Paris.
One very excited grandma here:j:j:j:j
Glad FC popped her head round the door last night.
