I have £90 worth of evouchers. Is it silly to spend them all at once?

I suppose it depends how you generated them. If through buying items that were on offer elsewhere then if any issues you can always appeal (as there is nothing to raise issues on your account). If, however, you have taken advantage of a glitch you may want to be more cautious and split your shop over different days/stores to use up your vouchers. People have had accounts suspended/blocked from what I can gather so caution may be the best approach.

With some of the differences in offer and "normal" prices, particularly alcohol, dishwasher tabs, washing tablets/liquids and toothbrushes etc it is quite possible to get a large voucher legitimately.

Shelf empty on Saturday; restocked today with a yellow special offer SEL but showing price of £1.49 and scanning at that price too (both Mars and Snickers)... x

How odd the Express I went to today had a £1 SEL down from £1.49 offer ending 10/11. So reckon that had been there a while.

Express I went in yesterday had £1.49 label no offer.

I did get Double Decker 4 pack (3+1) for 78p. And Curly Wurly 5 pack were about same price.

£1 in my express too, but on Saturday I popped down to my local extra and the Mars were 37p each :D Only got 10, would rather have had Snickers but they were gone.

Oh bloomin heck I didn't even look in the Extra when I was buying the beer. :o

Thanks. I've split it and made it an odd amount. I still spent £50 actual money as well

It was quite funny, someone saw me stocking up on them and said they were being good and only ever bought one bar at a time. I mentioned to them that they were 37p for a pack of four and something like 60p for a single, last I saw of them I think they had more packs than me :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We really don't get through many, when they were in the Express for 50p a pack I only got 5 and they lasted ages, but it is winter now and they are not so likely to melt :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

They always seem to do this sort of thing in M too - often see items (particularly fresh meat as it happens, don't know why I move off to there) with an "offer label" (whether they are actually an offer or not) and some quite much higher price that I can't recall them being. Usually when an item, or very similar, seems to have gone up in price from what I saw it at last time. Or maybe they are subtly different items and would have been far better getting something very similar, but not the same, last time as opposed to this week's pricey "offer".

About that "yellow special offer SEL" - some "special offer" at £1.49 when it had been 37p before:(. I suppose was there some much higher price than £1.49 crossed out in order to suggest that £1.49 was special? Of course they can have different prices in different stores sometimes, and sometimes a half price, or whatever, offer can relate to something that was at full price only in some other stores earlier.
