Off to do some baking now. Spent a very lazy day so far, sprawled on the sofa, surfing the Web.
Thanks to mhoc ( I think ) for the Amazon cat food post. Managed to get some, and ordered 5 items to get the 15% off on top of the £3 vouchers. I also found the Purina kitten biscuits. 4x800gram for £8.60 after the discounts, really pleased as they are £4 each in the supermarkets.

amazon cat food ???? what have I missed
My book order from Thursday was delivered to Warrington very late on Friday night and I had hopes of it being here sometime between Saturday and Sunday. Today is its official delivery day and its delayed due to external forces - what on earth are those“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Apparently I have a new badge, though I don't know what for.

Although this is true...it doesnt clearly solve the problem of what to buy someone who has everything,or at least very little needs except something to open on christmas morning.
I need to buy my sister and bil a present...I have no idea what...for the past few years we have gone with gift experiences/theatre trips/meals out etc but the list has now run out of suitable things....they are affluent and as such really dont need or want anything and I really have tried going down the route of "no gifts for us"...but my sister seems adamant on an exchange at christmas...
We have also done cheese boards and cheese vouchers, countless photo frames,molten/jo malone gift sets....wine and even a history of their house
my budget is £100 throw some ideas at me peeps....
How about giving them the world :December

Thanks Mhoc....I must admit I am all but given up on the sister/bil present...they have all the national trust.rhs memberships and TBH...I really did think I had hit a winner a couple of weeks ago as the Mail had an advert for lunch at Highgrove....a bit out of their way I thought but a good gift....only for her to drop it into conversation that acually they have been going for the past 5 years!
This year our family stockings are limited to £15 with no more than 6 pressies so I really am almost on top of that ....but the problem sister remains as she totally refuses to listen when I say "we dont need anything"....(so that kind of means I'd not like to have to find something for you)frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
