The turkeys would go really well with the 1p knives!:DThanks Dave. Just catching up and weighing up whether I should get one.
My kids have asked for a jacuzzi for Christmas (not asking much then) and this is about as far as my budget can go.
A Tesco boost question if anyone could help please?
I have vouchers in my name / clubcard and my wife has some in her name. Is it possible to combine them both do a boost on the lay z pa and I'll only have to pay about £100 real money.
Thanks,

Sorry I meant to reply the first time you asked.
We bought one after the fiasco with Amazon.
Everybody should own one IMHO.
There is far more to it than just filling with water and popping yourself in though.
To heat up from cold takes about 12 hours and to keep it hot constantly I would presume would cost a fortune.
My DH fitted an outside hot tap which we attach the hose pipe to which is alot more cost effective and quicker.
You also need to add quite a few chemicals, chlorine etc and do dip tests until it is right. You do however soon get used to quantities and timing.
Reading the reviews on Amazon people were saying they left the water in for one to two weeks, we don't after three goes it is ready for changing IMO. I am very bacteria conscious at the moment though and they are little breeding areas for bacteria so you do need the chemicals to keep them safe.
DM may completely dis agree with me I will be interested to see how he finds filling his etc.
Emptying it again is another issue in the end we bought a pump for about £40 that empties it straight into the grid which is great.
So to round up my opinions I think they are definitely worth getting but initially they are quite hard work until you get used to it and there is more financial outlay involved with your chlorine tablets, filters etc.
Go for it!0 -

Put perfectly.
I can usually get a couple of weeks out of my water but then I dont have children going in it, and I am clean to start with, plus I usually give it a good shot of chlorine every few days.
I wish I could fill from a hot tap, much more cose effective. Recommend you but a starter kit for around £15 when you buy it, it has all the chemicals and dip sticks in you need to get started. I have mine inside in the winter, and so relaxing just sitting in it chilling with a glass of wine.
Again, I bought a pump to empty, so I can get all the water out in about 5 mins, but used to syphon using a hosepipe and that took about 2-3 hours.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
