Oh dear, I know I criticise people's shops sometimes (if you don't want them pulled apart, it seems you have to write a disclaimer "Savvy I do not want your comment on this":rotfl:) but you should see some of my shops where I end up paying more:eek:! The only aim is so that others can see that perhaps something else may have been better and avoid making the same 'mistake', or that whoever bought can avoid doing so in the future - or maybe it was not a mistake at all (I don't suggest it ever was, hence the use of the quotes just now) as people may have decided they wanted to buy them anyway. It's there as an ever better improvement to us all shopping even more cheaply in future!

So, my mistakes:o:o:rotfl:. I've done it again - every time I fail to check on msm for an item beforehand, and just enter a shop and pick something up and buy it, I end up having paid too much. I think it really does require checking everything beforehand and never ever just going to a store.

I know that's too obsessive - it's just that concentrating on money-saving, I always get to know now when I've overpaid:(. Just too late. Some are when other places then go down even further than you've just paid. I went for Fruit & Fibre in A only to find then Aldi put its price down (and Lidl) just after I'd bought at a slightly higher price.

I just went to see if Lidl had a few good offers earlier tonight. And yet again - I've fallen for another one that seems to be good but works out more expensive than elsewhere! Last time, it was some Ice Lolly packs on offer - got caught by an offer of down to 69p or something like that - and of course in red background! - but then I returned and found Iceland worked out cheaper on its regular price!

Now I had the Frosted Flakes 500g at 85p offer tempt me tonight:(. It seemed alright, as the major supermarkets go down to £1 and would be looking at 10% off £1. However, tonight, later, was also my visit to Aldi - where, first thing I saw, was the 600g Frosted Flakes at 99p. My 500g works out at... £1.02:eek: for 600g!:rotfl:

So, I overpaid a little. Or in fact I have spent less in total - 85p:T rather than 99p but for my fewer Frosted Flakes. Oh well, we'll just have fewer flakes and then have nothing at all:rotfl::rotfl:.

Just to let you know - the Crownfield Frosted Flakes offer "looks good" but it seems it's one of mhoc's superficial good - as it works out more expensive than Aldi's price. And my packet now - it's psychological - it just looks very tiny and lonely on the shelf with not much it in at all:( (don't like it anymore:rotfl:).

Meanwhile...there is some Cucumber at 29p in Lidl now. Think that was all I found:rotfl: - if you want regular cucumber (i.e. not whoopsied).
