    You are only human savvy:o

    I think:rotfl:

I think you meant to highlight the last half of my then incomplete post:rotfl:. About my mistakes.

It does 'prove' I'm human - not that I needed proof:D - but the first part it's not the norm of the average person - instead indeed what I sometimes do might come across as a bit inappropriate:eek: (not intended) but I just - as part of my way:cool: - can't help myself sometimes. I just have to comment:o:o:o. I hope no-one about whose shop I do is bothered by it, and you all know me on here now;), but it is there to improve every one of our shops and all of us to save even more money:T:T. If they even need "improving" - you're perfectly entitled to buy items despite my petulant remarks:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

    BG v Morrisons ... don't know. (Admission - don't know what 'BG' represents:o)
    1) no 2) no, just the 2 pizzas plus (in my shop) Covent Garden Soup at £1.17 less £1 MOC and big bag of crisps at £0.99 ... so, £0.16 to pay - MOC didn't bat an eyelid:)
    hth

    Sorry - I shouldn't have used jargon!

It's now TBG, or BG - Brand Guarantee (or T Brand Guarantee). Should be giving you a discount of 53p per pizza (if exact mbuy amounts bought) off your bill if you are doing it right. 16p left isn't bad though!:rotfl::rotfl: I doubt whether, after any TBG, if it came to negative figures they could do that!:D:D NYCs shouldn't affect anything as they are different size in T to anywhere else (depends whether your crisps were branded and, if so, what they cost elsewhere) but needs 10 different items in the shop if you're going for the comparison way on top.

And, to continue where I left off before...:rotfl: why are you buying a 99p pack of crisps? Is there some big pack of crisps glitch that I don't know about?:o:o:rotfl: Spill the beans...have you found something better that we (or just I) don't know about there?:T:T:T:rotfl:

Oh that's a shame:( And a lovely gesture on your part :T He has had our help in the past (hope I'm not speaking out of turn:o) and hopefully he can rely on us now and in the future.

We should have combined our shops and then maybe would have done even better...

With me paying the share, like a muggle, of my normal items that I needed:rotfl::rotfl:.

I went to T and it turned out that, even despite the few items I bought last night at Mr A, I still had enough for me to get a comparison shop. So I did one. But may as well not have bothered - as all it is is paying the same as elsewhere on top of your normal non-brand T shop! Maybe I just like doing these comparison games that see me paying more and not saving money at all:rotfl::rotfl:.

I can see (and feel) the psychology now though - somehow, despite adding two brands and paying the same for them as elsewhere, I feel better at having knocked £1.50 off my T shopping bill (it worked!:D) even though it would have been £1.09 less still had I not added the brand items (of course they are good enough prices for me at my chosen 'elsewhere') and I could have avoided buying about 3 more T own brand items that, perhaps, were not strictly necessary. But, nonetheless, one of the items I went there for (a T own brand) was OOS:mad: and my actual shop ended up less costly than what it would originally have been! But...still need to get that item later somewhere:rotfl::rotfl::(:rotfl:.

It is - it feels better. It's like the premium bonds. You put money into them - and, if you buy enough, you'll usually find you probably get a small win every three months or so. Despite the fact that saving in a current account (with the loss-leader rates of interest) would have given you more money, somehow that "you have won" feels better, even though the amount of money you're getting is less than what the bank would have given. I have - I'd had premium bonds in the past and, though at that time they gave quite a lot less than what putting the money in an ISA would have given, somehow I felt a lot better from that psychology of the 'yayy - you've won' every other month or so - and, maybe, that feeling of enjoyment itself had a value that was 'worth' more than what I was losing by not having the money in the building society?

So, I could have got 5 own brand (not 8) from T and the two brands at the cheaper elsewhere (had I not forgotten to pick one up a few days ago, that I probably would have bought at the competitor at that straight price). Instead, I got 8 own brand and two brand... and feel better, somehow, from getting the receipt with the "deduction" off the bill. (In truth, it's just the expected prices of elsewhere and T's own shelf price, which I ignored in effect, was irrelevant.) Although the three strictly maybe items I might not have otherwise bought, I didn't exactly break the bank on them and would have needed anyway at some point - and I didn't buy the more expensive Eday item that was OOS that I was originally going to put into my shop! Instead, I bought a whoopsied bread at 8p:D (hence that earlier item:rotfl:).

Also we had the family member along in tow tonight - who wasn't available when I was in the other store earlier in the week - and they pay contribution to some of the household bills, groceries etc. - not that they are left with very much to contribute to such bills given the fact that I now do the Elite:rotfl: - so I could use their paying for me tonight!:) It worked out more convenient therefore.
