The Seabrooks probably will not make it to my list:laugh: - 45p for a 6 pack is just not good enough. Especially from a straight £1:( price elsewhere. I think I maybe joking a little, as regards our glitches. It's very harsh for them not to make it to the list, but sometimes it is that way!

The perceived wisdom was that it was in fact a trespass not a contract. If you went to a carpark and it was £20 an hour you'd either park or go elsewhere. In the Beavis case the fact was it was free. The Staples copy equipment broke down causing the delay. (he was getting flyers done for the chippy).

The scenario now is that people buy land and turn it in to a retail park. They employ Parking Eye et all to manage the car park to ensure that customers can get in and out and, as it turns out, make extra profit. Now if you are short of time in any store you cannot risk it so you abandon your business and the retailers suffer. How long before profits suffer then eventually leases are not renewed and the car park generates no income as the units are empty ? Soon hopefully.

It's very complicated (though not for me of course, who understands it all (allegedly:laugh:)) but goes back to old cattle cases and lots of other things. I could write about this for hours and hours but don't have the wherewithal to do so - it's a law dissertation rather than posting on a forum. Practically though (and not getting into any of the hours - nay days:eek: - of law stuff), I always find out ways of avoiding parking in any charged car park in the first place. Such as spaces that are available on-street - and then they double-line the entire of town centres:mad:. So I park farther away and then walk in - gets me a bit of exercise I suppose! I wouldn't exceed the time limit and would try to have completely free parking on every occasion. I know it's difficult if you've got young kids and not ability to walk across towns. It's also as difficult, if not more, travelling with kids and heavy shopping luggage using public transport. Though then I'd suggest:p(:rotfl:) on both occasions - not taking young kids with you in the first place and then they also can't pick up items in supermarkets that cause you to spend too much money. Easier said than done - hence my stick-out tongue! (Charming...:rotfl::(.)

I suppose, if you are a provider that wants to use - this is a separate thing now - an exemption clause, you try to suggest the law is as complicated as possible and has loopholes that allow you to succeed. Whereas if you want to prove liability in someone else, you claim the law is very clear indeed.

Did anyone else sign up for the S Energy switch through MSE in February?

I wasn't planning to change mid-term (£60 exit fee) but noticed the headline about Hidden £270/yr British Gas saving in the right hand column. Just logged in to the Cheap Energy Club and ran the comparison and it claims that I can save £66 per year. I wouldn't bother (as £60 exit penalty from S Energy) ... but it says existing British Gas and S Energy customers can switch to this penalty free - and collect £30 from MSE for switching :). Seems painless enough and £96 saved?

nectar.com - account updates and offers
    https://mycoupons.sainsburys.co.uk/

register ( I use the same log in for both) and choose 5 offers.

go out, buy the items and keep your receipt careful - check your emails after 2 in the afternoon to see when your points have been added, it can take a week or just 2 days.
Check nectar next day and then go back to mycoupons to see what else there is :D

Thank you so much for your very clear instructions & link. I'm presuming you only need the receipt for proof if they don't get added?
I've rather a lot of points at the moment but can never find anything worth using them for. The last time was ages ago for the ice cream that was on double up & compared somewhere for a bm. I can't bring myself to simply use them for a straight exchange as they are such poor value compared to mr t.

    As if:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.

Who on earth would buy one? Take another and get them to reduce your bill by 32p. Presumably people whose M didn't put up the mbuy offer:rotfl::(.

I notice the link (as usual:D). "Seems cheaper to buy two."
:rotfl:Er, yes it does doesn't it, just possibly, a little bit tentatively:rotfl:.

(...Why not write "It is cheaper to buy two"? No need for the doubt - almost as bad as me sitting on the fence all the time and not knowing whether anything will every compare (but then I don't).)

Ah Letchworth - an old price collection store:D:D. May even be one of the stores they still collect at now. I know A has got some information from Letchworth M before, in the past. It's not one of mine though - so you can stop looking for me there!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:(:eek:As if anyone would! Big "do not disturb" sign I think:D:cool: - well, not totally.)

They have made up an inflated RRP price but 50p per litre is cheaper than own brand (and 45p if this is picked up on APG is even better).
