Did anyone else sign up for the S Energy switch through MSE in February?
I wasn't planning to change mid-term (£60 exit fee) but noticed the headline about Hidden £270/yr British Gas saving in the right hand column. Just logged in to the Cheap Energy Club and ran the comparison and it claims that I can save £66 per year. I wouldn't bother (as £60 exit penalty from S Energy) ... but it says existing British Gas and S Energy customers can switch to this penalty free - and collect £30 from MSE for switching. Seems painless enough and £96 saved?

Thanks!
I have just applied to switch and will save £27 a month plus get the £30.:D
Not forgetting that they also give Nectar points.:TN1LDA:D0 -

streetlights wrote: »Good evening everybody, thank you to OP about the soup. I managed to get some. That is my lunch sorted for several weeks. we can now say there is such a thing as free lunch.
I feel now I can make a confession. I have about 60 bottles of handwash . When I went on my last holiday I forgot to take some and paid £1.88 for some.
I am expecting judgement and shaming.:)
I am both shocked and disappointed streetlights:o

One attempt to find a complaint about it though:rotfl: - if people are almost exclusively buying at 2 for £1, then are we suggesting that, as no-one is buying at £1.32, that price is misleading, as "no-one" is really paying it and thus any offer in respect of that (such as an mbuy in conjunction with it) should not be promoted?
Then there would still have to be an individual price. Then, if it is to be below the cost of buying two, as no-one would take up the individual price if it were not, it would need to be somewhere above 50p - as they would not want people buying just one at 50p - so it could perhaps settle at 75p. 75p or 2 for £1. Some people might then pick up just one (and overpay but never mind - people don't always buy mbuys) but I suppose M wants people to buy 2 so that it gets paid by Princes for people buying the mbuy offer? M gets more money if customers buy the product on the mbuy. That's all I can imagine - so, obviously, if there's some contract between M and Princes, under which it pays M for M to be shifting in twos, then M would not want people buying an odd number, is in M's interests that people buy in twos and hence the reason for the pricing?0 -
you are doing much better than I am now.
the only till spits I am getting are the double points or triple points as are the mycoupons basket ones. I've bought all of the interesting bits I need for mycoupons bonus points.
I've got swim points and ebay bonus points to go on but not until much later in the month.
no mailings or email promotions or surveys to complete either.
I've got a 33p BM to use before the 14th, that is the most exciting thing Ive got to do in sainsbobos :rotfl:
Yes but I think I'm several weeks behind you mhoc.....I'm sure the good Mycoupons will dry up soon.
I used a Patisserie Valerie...Amazon local deal today......£5 for 2 Christmas coffees or ordinary if you prefer and a delicious mince pie.
It felt very seasonal:T:)To do is to be. Rousseau

Thank you so much for your very clear instructions & link. I'm presuming you only need the receipt for proof if they don't get added?
I've rather a lot of points at the moment but can never find anything worth using them for. The last time was ages ago for the ice cream that was on double up & compared somewhere for a bm. I can't bring myself to simply use them for a straight exchange as they are such poor value compared to mr t.
I have exactly the same issue and have only been spending them to get more! But I am hoping that I might find something in the double up which begins this month.0
