Was I behind the times doing the Amazon deal for free £7 code if you bought £30 Amazon gift cards mentioned in the MSE newsletter?
Did it on Tuesday and the code came through today. :T
Think I read it's no minimum spend. :cool:0 -
Right - expect updates as to what's happening on the M list every few minutes:rotfl:. (N.Ireland - sorry, just ignore.)
Perhaps M is learning something unfortunately. They have put the prices of the comparable 20 pack Carling and Fosters up, but kept the Carling Cider and the Somersby (which aren't stocked elsewhere) at £10 price. So, we have to shop in M and can't go to A and APG. Maybe just coincidence.
The Pringles have gone up. Was £1, now 2 for £3.
A GLITCH? By me?
Also there's a lot of Aussie Shampoos and Conditioners (250ml and 200ml respectively) now at £2 in M. May be useful in case a glitch might come onto them in A at some point in the future. (In fact there might already be one - hooray I may have found a glitch:j:j:T:D - but one based on something that someone has already found - if there is still a trigger, or even better, a product that doesn't identify a show in the 3 for £10 mbuy.) They are at £2 in M - however, it seems a random, different one of them in each store is full price (although, obviously, the same one is £2 SEL at other stores). Just that sometimes seen thing of prices being incompletely changed across a range on the SELs in different stores, even though the entire range they stock is on the new price:(.0 -

The cost of cakes vs M did go up quite a while ago as M appeared to stop stocking some SP-equivalent products - or else, because of that, they were no longer best as an M comp. item and had to be moved onto vs elsewhere (obviously it would have to have been vs T, as vs S would surely be more expensive and W doesn't have an equivalent range). (However, Mr A has not been immune from my chagrin - by discontinuing a small number of SP items, and thus putting up the cost of shopping there, and others have noticed it too with some small supermarkets no longer having some of the SP range - same prices in every store... but you can't get the product in the smaller store and thus have only an expensive alternative on offer! Mr A it seems stopped having a SP Raspberry Sponge Cake thus now forcing us to go to Mr T for an equivalent at same price and not get any 10% off anymore.)
Mr M had already stopped its Savers Sponge Cake. However, some of the other products are now making a reappearance in M. (They may already be equivalents on Avs T, but now available in M too.) Of course, don't expect them immediately to appear with M prices and compare on the APG as it may take them some time to pick up. Especially as it's possible that Mr M hasn't at the moment gone to the extent of distributing any SELs to its stores for these products, so that, as of yesterday, there were no prices displayed in my stores:(: and thus, if no prices are displayed in any M stores that have them, then I feel an inevitable N/A on the APG?
There's no question regarding TBG, as these products are own brand:(. And probably the same price in T anyway. I did go to the extent of getting the prices nonetheless, although they will not appear on the APG if it operates the way that I understood it to.
That's if A still stocks any of its SP items in any event:mad::(:rotfl:.
Of course, elsewhere, I shall not be having any supposedly "Smart" soup:eek: in uncrossed form on the list for some while. Why would anyone buy expensive SP soups now given the Heinzs?:rotfl::D0 -

My first thought was "When was this shop done?" but I see you have answered that. Maybe still on Monday's data as the Seabrook Crisps 'probably' 50p on Monday and the Rockin' Chilli still comparing (that should still continue if they are continuing to identify the Italian Mac Cheese in M as the comparable item - I can't see that it could be anything else) but just to be aware that yesterday the Pork Mince in M were £2.50 each:eek:. If this is Monday's data, we may be about to see an M price rise on the comps soon. Or maybe not.
Not sure I understand the strange prices that appear to be going on on the combination of biscuits here, and not favourable sadly.0 -
