Saw on a SW FB page that some had got them in T's and they compared but they seem terribly confused with all this PP and APG stuff, so don't know how accurate their info is lol.

Cheap cider and beer at Amazon Prime Now

I was just placing my first order on the Amazon Prime Now app, and looked in the grocery section as I needed to add a small item to take it over £30, in order to use the £10 wys £30 code.
I was surprised to see 15 cans of cider (Strongbow) or lager(Fosters) at £4.97 for the pack of 15!! Free delivery too.
Can't link, as it is on the app, but it is much cheaper than you can buy anywhere else. I added a pack of cider to be delivered between 6 and 8 this evening, will let you know if it turns up.

Havent tried the TBG think since the voucher was produced instantly when you get your shopping yet. A' and M's are much nearer to me. The facebookers on that page were complaining that they got 13 packets of alpens expecting to get about £20 back, but only get cb on 6 of them. Not sure what other shopping was involved though. (yes think I am one of the confused lol )

That's the crucial point. I think that's what people generally do not understand - and thus they lose the full of the discount that would otherwise be due to them.

I don't see what the point is in buying at T (unless I've missed some point as per later in this reply). I'm not really shopping at A these days - occasionally might pick up things I need with a womble but just mainly doing shops like that - not bothering with further items to get 8 - so what I did, on Monday, was just pick up one box of Alpen Light, that we might need - we don't need to go mad or buy more - at 50p in M. I could have waited and tried in A but - all for the sake of 5p?

It's the same with the Princes Juices - if I needed them and I tend to think they just give you more sugar than you need - even if not added, then it's sugar that is already in fruit from the outset - so why not just have something better, such as water? If I needed them, I would just have picked up 2 at 2 for £1 (50p each) and that's that.

Or alternatively you could buy them simply at 2 for £2 in A with a womble. That works out cheaper, since you're not paying real cash, although you have to pretend that your womble just wasn't as good as it actually was. That may be the alternative way to go. Swings and roundabouts.

Unless you are saying that, on the Alpen Light, there is some cashback of TBC or something like that that is giving back the full T price instead of the 50p M price, and me being as usual totally unaware of any CB offer:eek:. You've confused me there, with your reference to "cb":rotfl:. I assume you mean the TBG discount - unless I've missed this point and there's actually some CB offer that would make it more sense to buy in T? Otherwise, as I see it, certainly instore, there's no point. You may as well buy them in M. And not have to buy (and pay money for) the number of extra items in T beyond the number of comparable-to-M Alpen Light flavours they stock. Take your TBG discount and reduce it by the cost spent on extra items needed beyond merely the Alpen Lights that you could simply buy in M (with nothing further needed to get 50p cost each). You've therefore saved somewhat less than the discount! And, even then, the FB people, according to what you are telling me (I have not seen and have no knowledge of the FB page), didn't get the discount they expected - so they've ended up paying T more!
