  • Well, got me a new evening dress. Not the one from Roman, I tried that one on and was covered in more glitter than a Christmas card factory. Actually ended up going back to TKmaxx and got one I had tried before, sort of navy blue with a lacy top. Fits perfectly despite being labelled as a size 10, and it was only £13 :D

    Hi All,

C&C from this morning, cheapish spirit prices with an AvS shop, used a £10 off WYS £60 eVoucher. Sausages were previously both comparing to £1.

    1x Butcher's Selection 8 British Cumberland Sausages (454G) £1.70 £1.50
    1x Southern Comfort Liqueur with Whiskey (1L) £23.00 £20.00
    1x Russian Standard Vodka (70CL) £13.50 £10.00
    1x Filippo Berio Mild & Light Olive Oil (500ML) £3.70 £2.00
    1x Tomato Puree (200G) £0.49 £0.50
    1x Dettol Anti-Bacterial Surface Cleanser (500ML) £1.00 £1.00
1x Bombay Sapphire Distilled London Dry Gin (1L) £29.00 £18.00
    1x Linda McCartney Vegetarian Sausage (6X50G) £1.50 £1.00
    1x Butcher's Selection 8 British Pork Sausages (454G) £1.70 £1.50
    1x ASDA Good & Balanced Cannellini Beans (300G) £0.48 N/A

Treating my my kids to Cineworld after using 5 TicTac rewards free tickets followed by a meal at Bella Italia where hopefully a £60 bill should be reduced to a more reasonable £25.

    Hi all :hello:
Wet and windy here. Have been to buy some Sainsbury's wine and port :beer:

Not near an A to test handwash sorry.

Have also bought a(nother) Nespresso machine - £63 but includes £75 of coffee vouchers, from Amazon :coffee::coffee:

Re the red and white mystery wines - Does anyone have an opinion about whether it's best to go for the lowest price box or the slightly more expensive one? The person who received the Oyster Bay- was that from the cheaper or more expensive box please? The cheapest one says that you will receive wines which are normally £5 or less, I was wondering if that is always the case or if there is a chance you will get more expensive wines even with the cheaper box? Hope that makes sense![/QUOTE

Do you have a link for the nespresso please?

It was me that had a couple of oyster bays and these were from the cheaper boxes - I had 2 codes saved (I think I found them on a mse discount code thread) so it cost me £80 for 24 bottles :)
These are all for home consumption - never get invited anywhere posh to take wine with us :)
Some of the tops look marked so these might have to consumed shortly!

The wines we used to get on offer for £3 a bootle with the various taxes are now selling for between £5 and £8 a bottle so these now are the normal drinking wines.
Anything over £10 I might hang onto.

Just got back from being out so I will be back later when I have re organised the house again and made a list :)

I am having the same problem with Google. It has been like this since yesterday grrrr. I put something in the search box, click search and it just sits there. I am having to use Google Chrome also.

    Annoying isn't it.

Is this on your main computer or laptop or through iPad/tablets - seems to be ok through mobile devices

Control F5 seems to sort it but only if you do it before each search which is infuriating and if I go to google chrome I don't have roboform so I need to go back to IE10 to get passwords

MY OHs is now going to take google off altogether and then re install to see I f that works - there will be cursing later if not as I want to do a wine stock list which will involve a lot of searches :)

Sorry for the late reply, have been out.
Here's the link. However, the one I bought is now OOS. There is a blue one for £72 though.
The nespresso promotion is that you get £75 of vouchers with a cappuccino machine, and £45 with an espresso machine. What makes it a particularly good deal is that Amazon have some machines at a reduced price at the moment, which means that they cost the same or slightly less than the value of the vouchers. You need to pay upfront for the machine and then claim the vouchers which are then credited to your account and used to buy the coffee. I have claimed them previously with no problem.
Be careful as the Amazon page might be slightly incorrect as it shows some machines without an aeroccino on the £75 page when maybe they should be on the £45 voucher page. Hope that makes sense! I bought one with a milk frother to be on the safe side (but at the time that was the cheapest anyway).
