  • Potential glitch on Kingfisher Oriental tins (not tested but should work).

No multis on A.com and 2 for £1 instore.

Beansprouts, bamboo shoots and water chestnuts are 3 for £2 in T.

Buy in sixes and pay £3. Apg should compare £5.10 v £4 returning £1.50 meaning that 6 cans cost £1.50 or 25p each.

Pay £12, return £8.16 if my maths are correct.

Make sure that if any flavours are out of stock your OH remembers he needs at least 8 items (if in doubt, get 10p sweets for Halloween!).

Thank you. Will see if I can persuade OH to go while he is nearby!

Tilda is 2 for £2 in store so if he gets 10 packs it will be £10. 10 different items needed to generate an apg so I think this list covers the 10 though I usually get a couple of 10p sweets like a flump, or chewy bar (sweets isle 10p sweets, flump/ chew bar/10 p back haribo ) to make sure.

Edit-ignore me its 8 different and i usually get 10 different-I really shouldn't try posting info when Im supposed to be working on something else....my head is fried

Thanks anyway, better safe than sorry (especially if I am entrusting OH with a shopping list) :)

The multi on Ambrosia custard and rice pudding is missing on my end too.
  • Potential glitch on Ambrosia tins today. No multis online and 91p each and 3 for £2 instore.

Some of the tins are 50p each in S and M, so hopefully buy in threes and the apg might compare £2.73 v £1.50, returning £1.38, meaning each tin costs just under 21p..:D

Oh, some changes to Match and More as of 2 November.

From 2nd November, it will be simpler to earn points through the following changes:
    • Earn 5 Morrisons points for every £1 you spend* - you will no longer have to spend a minimum of £15 in one transaction
    • We’re also extending the locations where points can be earned to include Flower Shop, Garden Centres and Pharmacies
    • Morrisons Match points on comparable shopping will end
So, no need to spend £15 anymore, but no comparing against competitors. So, back to just buy at the competitor again!:p:rotfl: Might not bother after all as only a few days left. The 'buy in M' list though remains as that, as it was never a comparison list but is what is, supposedly, as long as I'm aware, best bought in M.

On that last point, btw, I've looked at the various bin and refuse bags. I've distributed them among the lists (Avs M and buy in M, I don't think I have any on T) according to which place, on current prices, regardless of what prices may have been in the past, are the best value - so no need to try to work this out, it's all been done here although prices may change from day to day and need to check that they haven't changed. There are different pack sizes of many of these at different stores - and, even when one store works out at half a penny cheaper (on adjusted prices), I've put it onto that store's list rather than anywhere else. A SP Refuse Sacks for example work out very very slightly cheaper than M based on number, and work out that way outright even if they return N/A (they have been known to compare against M before, so could be an unexpected bonus if they also compare as, of course, the A price per sack isn't 10% cheaper - and neither does it have to be). However, they are obviously more expensive buying them in A if they return N/A than if they (probably incorrectly) compare against M and give a 10% off. So I only get them if I see them comparing on a womble, which occasionally they do.

Actually, going back to the start where M says it will be "simpler" to collect points. I'm not sure it will be "simpler" at all:rotfl:. Maybe "simpler" for them! Before, it was "simpler" to collect points by doing a comparison shop against elsewhere and you could collect quite a lot of points that way. This new way, of just half a penny in points per £1 appears to require me to spend quite a lot more:rotfl::rotfl::(. Before, if you spent £1 on an item that was, say, half that price in A, you'd have got (assuming a comparison - although it would then be in a minimum spend £15 shopping basket) 50p in points for that £1 item rather than half a penny:(. Of course, everything comparable in my basket would be cheaper in A. It therefore seems, from our POV, to be harder to collect points. But I'm sure it is "simpler" from the muggles' POV - and this sort of thing plays to the muggles rather than to us as the muggles might more likely think the Match points were more of a gimmicky price match (because they buy in the wrong way so don't get as many points) but the 5 points per £1 seems to be more attractive. Until you think it's just half a penny and - do you still need £5 first? It's just so complicated this scheme! At half a penny per pound, and that assumes I spent exact pound amounts in any one shop and don't keep losing excess pennies, I would have to spend £1,000:eek: to get a £5 voucher. Think I might just not bother and might just try for some wombles from A. Could get £5 quite easily, with just two moderately successful wombles - I bet I could manage that within an average one week, than £1,000 worth of "unnecessary" and long-winded spending at M!

Breaking news... OH has agreed to call in A for Tilda
Will be a miracle if he does it right :rotfl:

Which leaves me free to find something I actually need on ebay :)

Its a really difficult one for the Doctor I think...I saw it all to often when my mum would phone her GP surgery to say her husband was not well and in bed could a doctor come and see him...

I know the surgery would have asked the basic questions to determine the severity but on at least 1 occaision he had had a stroke and mum had booked a home visit for him by the doctor because her husband"was not well"....all credit to the doctors surgery 9 times out of 10 they tried to get to them as one of the first home call visits rather than the last...but its very difficult when all the information isnt given at the time of the initial call...

    Yes, that's very true :o

There are adverts everywhere telling people what to look for in symptoms of a stroke. I guess the older generation of "I don't like to make a fuss" do tend to play these things down sometimes

    I hope I didn't cause any offence :o

Although you can usually tell the age of someone if you find out what perfume/aftershave they were into or wore as a teen or young adult.
