morning all help required re. car insurance Just had a renewal quote £120 more than last year. I think I know why I was involved in a minor accident back in January Not my fault ( claim settled ) I have tried to get quotes from a couple of other companies and they want anything from £150 to £400 extra. now this is when I want some advise on filling in the form Do I put the max. 9 years no claim or do I have to put in 0 years no claim due to my blameless accidet The real Question is why should a person who was not at fault have to pay for someone elses fault

Not sure if any help but I had someone go into the back of me and I had protected no claims so I put how many years for that but it also asked if involved in accident in last so many years and there was tick box if no fault accident.

Awaiting Dr who is calling after 12pm.

Why they couldn't tell Drs it was an emergency I don't understand but they know best.

The first time it happened was in 2001 & he learned to walk but very unsteady & slow.

This year was the year of him getting his own car that he can drive with hand controls & he has been literally whizzing around the country with his new found freedom.

Tomorrow my Parents were going to Center Parc Sherwood Forest for a friend's birthday weekend.

Poor Mum - I've offered to go down but she says no....
    Will wait & see :)

Snap so sorry to hear this, you have had such a horrible year. Take care x

So did I if it's any consolation. Think you had to be VERY quick that time.
  • Here's an example of a lovely A v M c&c from 4 hours ago. I got very lucky in that not only did all the bottles of spirits compare to the correct M price, I only actually paid £15 for each of them on my receipt bringing each litre bottle down to £10..:D

Also, the sausages didn't appear on my receipt and I wasn't charged for them..:D

    1x Bell's Original Blended Scotch Whisky (1L) £18.50 £15.00
    1x Bacardi Carta Blanca (1L) £18.50 £16.00
2x After Eight After Eight Mint Chocolate Thins (300G) £4.00 £2.00
    1x Whyte & Mackay Scotch Whisky (1L) £18.50 £15.00

    2x Smirnoff Premium Vodka (1L) £37.00 £30.00
    2x ASDA Butcher's Selection Smoked Gammon Joint (1.4KG) £12.92 £8.00

So yesterday I used a fajita mix from the great Old El Paso glitch, BBE Nov 2012. But I am still here to tell the tale. :D

Today it's a bar of Bailey's chocolate I found, free from IDH not from last year either as it's dated BBE 10/2014. :o

Living life on the edge. :rotfl:

The creamy Baileys filling has gone interestingly crystalized. :o

    TIA

I got 10 mixed but you could buy multiples of the same flavour if you want. The offer in A is 2 for £2 so you have to buy an even number overall for best return (but no more than 10 in total because that is the COS/CS cap)

    From memory I got

    chilli powder hot
    chilli powder mild
    paprika
    cinnamon sticks
    cinnamon (ground)
    cumin (ground)
    coriander (ground)
    ginger (ground)
    garamasala
    cayenne pepper

I almost got turmeric but it's not listed on A.com so changed my mind

I got 10 mixed because it means you don't need to get any fillers at all. So if you are new to BM this is a perfect introduction

You could easily add in a single tin of Branston Beans (75p vs 50p with 40p CB on ST so 10p cost), or a Dr O pizza if you have any free MOCs because each one of those will give you an extra £1 on your BM

WHATEVER you add has to be cheaper in A, same price or not sold. Anything you buy that is cheaper in S will erode the value of your BM voucher
