I think they did a blinding job on the Training Mission 2! I actually thought it was a dog having a go at me! LOL! Got home and OH admitted that it had made him jump a couple of times as well! : -) Still nothing in the post! Sob! :(

Oh no my pack arrived at the end of last week so they are definitely on their way around!

Apparently there was an issue with the tshirt manufacturer so the packs got delayed

When are you planning to do the VR (you know, in your nice Runner 5 T-shirt which you've already received, unlike SOME of us ). Hope your injury doesn't lead to being caught by Zombies .

There seemed to be a LOT of runners out and about tonight as I was heading home from work. I didn't see any Zombies t-shirts, and it might have just been the nice weather and lighter nights, but I like to think there were a few Runner 5's out there. :rotfl:

@NotBothered - I'm also planning to pout like a child until my pack arrives.

Did either of you call the number on the last operative briefing? I thought it was a nice touch!

Well the weather was too nice to miss yesterday evening and the excitement was all a bit much so this Runner 5 ran for her life to save the world! Recorded a PB!! Yey! :T

Bonus is that I was one of the first on the Leader Board so for a very, very short time I was in the top 20! LOL! Took a Screenshot as a warm fuzzy reminder! 2 minutes later I had dropped about 20 places! :rotfl:

Second Bonus is that I hid OH's medal and presented it to myself! :beer: Didnt have the T-Shirt but we cant have everything LOL! OH ran in his T-Shirt and I told him he looked stupid to make myself feel better - Jealous? Moi?

I ran it in my Runner 5 shirt...sorry guys *blush*

I was 11 seconds off a PB, so I KNOW I can smash it when fully fit!

I also got lost - needed to make some time up, so pelted down a hill and through an underpass, and took a wrong turning on the other side.

Once I'd finished and got my bearings, I called OH to let him know I might be a little late as I'd gotten lost. His response? "Oh, at least you're only a few miles away..."

No, I haven't run my race yet. I've got it planned in for Monday, but I'm REALLY excited and may do it tomorrow. However, I've got a bit of lake swimming planned for tomorrow as well so might not be so keen after that .

Saw on Rofflenet that the delay with supplies means they haven't even received all of the t-shirts yet, never mind posted them. *must try to be patient*

P.S. In case you didn't realise, the phone number is a London number so will be included in any mobile minutes you have :money:.

At Last! Race Pack finally came! I gave myself a little medal ceremony much to the amusement of my colleagues! I got Silver so Husband can have his rubbish bronze back! : -)

Mine too, it was waiting when I got home from work .

I did the race on Monday and loved the storyline but had a really crappy run .....

So I'm going to redo it this Monday in the proper t-shirt with the medal at the end. I'm SURE that will make all the difference
