First episode didn't make sense for a little bit, but persevere

Flacos - Did Walk of Life last night. Glad I wasn't going for any PBs, as I spent most of it in tears...

Some info please. Until I came across this thread I never knew a thing about zombies run! And now it sounds fun but am unclear. If I download the app to my phone it works alongside my music on the phone? And various messages come through to get me going? Is this right? I am only on week 6 of the couch to 5k at the mo but I have I got to be able to do a full 5k before I can use the app?0

Nope, you can walk it, run it, set how long or how far you want to go, etc. etc. It tells you a story while you're running (will stop your music to do so) and sometimes zombies chase you and you have to go a bit faster.
The first four missions are free then you can download 1 a week, orrrrr you can pay £15 a year and have unlimited access to everything. Best £15 I ever spent

Best £15 I ever spent too! Just to add, I usually only start my music AFTER the intro has played to each episode so that I can get the volume levels right. I also have Nike Plus running alongside it as I use this one to compete/keep track of friends, but had to turn the voice overs off that one as if Sam was talking at the same time as Nike cut in the volume levels got all confused and I would either be straining to hear or deafened!0

Ooooh think I shall have to use it instead of listening to Laura on c 2 5 k app- sorry laura!!! I will use it on my next run for sure0

There's a Zombies Run to 5k training app, I think that's about £3 - I never used it, just the actual Zombies Run program

So I planned to do a short fast run last night as I was late getting home and it was dark. I got 3 zombie chases in 25 minutes! My lungs weren't happy but its the fastest paced run I've ever done by quite a marginMFW 2024 £27500/7500 Mortgage £129,500 Jan 22 Final payment June 38 Now £68489.08 FP May 36 Emergency Fund £20,000 100% Added to ISA 24 £8,060 Save 12k in 24 #31 £20,034.76/20,000 Debt Free 31.07.140
