OK, so I'm finally going to try updating to Windows 10.
I'm starting with my Laptop, which I don't use much, since I got my Hudl.
I'm currently updating Windows and AVG, after which I'll launch the Windows 10 update.
Wish me luck.

I don't mind Windows 10, but be sure to research how to disable Windows 10 tracking. Avoid tools if you can, there are plenty of guides.0

when you are installing , and get to the screen offering express settings , click on custom , and disable quite a few
if you are happy with the install and have no personal data , then d/load the iso and do a clean install , (custom) and delete all partitions and create new ones ,
once installed go to updates , and it should find "most" drivers , if not go to manufacturers website on either on that or another machine and d/load them
you will probably like to install classic shell menu as well0 -

you can d/load the iso to a pendrive
copy/save this link https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 , when you do it , it will ask you what you want to do with it , click "run" and save (burn to) pendrive.
NOTE: you need to actually run the upgrade first , so that your machine is legal
NOTE 2: when installing from the ISO , skip serial number , when you go to updates it will register your machine (as its a re install of win 10)0
