I would say a quilt folded in half or into quarters, depending on the size of the dog of course.
Much cheaper than a dog bed.You didn't, did you? :rotfl::rotfl:0 -

rising from the ashes..my dog would most certainly fall off one of those beds lol. He's not allowed on the furniture, so is used to sleeping in his bed on the floor.
I'll try and measure the ones here for you once they're dog free to give you an idea of dimensions

I've not forgotten about you, but we've got a poorly hound ATM so will need to wait until later - he's on the mend, but we spent our extra hour (and a few more besides) tripping in and out to the garden.

It's OK. Hope your doggie is feel better soon.
My dog is going in for an operation. He has a lump at the base of his tail and it needs removing.
He is a rescue dog and he's had all sorts wrong with him. I think I've been keeping the vet in work0 -
Our first dog liked veterinary bedding - dense white synthetic sheepskin-like pile on a green background, easy to wash and cut to size (have also seen it available in grey). You can buy it at country shows etc.
He also had a beanbag - didn't like it when first given it, but decided it was good after a human had used it for an evening.
...but agree with others about arthritic dogs liking being able to stretch out and the bean bag was designed for the curled-up position.
Our second dog liked a typical oval pad topped with a fleece blanket that we'd sculpt into a raised edge around him. All easily washable.0 -
He's much brighter already, thank you - I daresay the anti emetic and antacid jabs he's had are working their magic :T He's around 11ish now, but has CDRM and a long history of gastric trouble so I tend to be extra cautious with him
Right, the biggest one I have is 36x 24, another is 30x20 and the smallest is 27x18. On that basis, it would seem that the smaller measurement is 2/3 of the larger.
The Danish Designs beds don't have much of a foam base in them, so I find the additional mattresses are essential for bony dogs

Edited to say, I hope all goes well with the surgery.
