Vodatrocious

Could anyone let me into the secret. Of how to get hold of an advisor of Vodafone. Who has a smidgin of intelligence and can take decisions. They lie, fob you off, fail to return promised calls. Would a complaint to the Ombudsman invoke a reaction. Or is that overkill....

Nothing is 'overkill' with Voda, but before going to the ombudsman you have to complete Vodafone's internal complaint procedure, i.e. allow them to drag their feet and keep giving you runaround for another 8 weeks:
    http://www.vodafone.co.uk/about-us/code-of-practice/
    http://www.ombudsman-services.org/complaining-to-the-company-communications.html

If you want a faster result you can try contacting their web reps like they advise in numerous endless threads here. They are probably the only few people in this shambolic company that have a smidgen of intelligence and, as a result, can solve problems instead of making things worse.

Seriously I keep saying it, but can we get a Voda sub board, they are cluttering up mobile board as much as our lives...

Every other thread involves basic stuff Voda cant get right.
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe ;)
  • I sympathise. I've been overcharged in the summer to the tune of nearly £100 when Eurotraveller failed. I'm stuck in a spiral of despair where they won't even issue a deadlock letter so I can follow up with the Ombudsman. I've been a customer of theirs since 1994. Won't be for much longer...

You can after 8 weeks pass
  • I've repeatedly requested one but I'm getting constant 'we're looking into it, wait a bit longer' emails from CS. I've given them 7 working days to provide one, then I'll just send all the emails to the ombudsman. Already opened a complaint.

The ombudsman won't entertain a complaint unless you have deadlock or 8 weeks.

Anything prior to that will be you wasting your time.
