Thanks everyone. Didn't sleep that well and feel like I slept on the floor! The tension from yesterday has left me feeling like I ran a marathon or something. But it's all good from here.

    Hi all
The last few days have really had an impact, feel like I've been treading treacle both physically and mentally! Hopefully I can relax more soon. Today I finally started to tackle paperwork. Did the balance transfers to P Off cc from Dibs and V!rgin. Will leave those to go through then take out 0% mega loan from the clear V!rgin card.
Sorted out a lot of papers, spoke to friends, baked some scones. Feel like I'm starting to come out the other side. Going visiting for a few days as well which will help. Used the recent random rail voucher to book a cheapo first class journey as a little treat. Not exactly money saving, but a good use of a freebie all the same.

Insomnia is back! I flipping "had a nap" i.e. Zonked into a 2 hour sleep around tea time.
Well as I'm up I may as well do something useful.

    Current finances

    Hfax acct - £128.75
    FD acct- £479.80 overdrawn
    Hfax cc - 3144.73 (0 % until Oct 17)
    Dibs cc- 77.06
    P Off cc - 1300 (0% until Oct 17)
    MBNAcc - 1175 (0% until Dec 16)
    FD Savings - £195

At present these are the main financial worries. It is technically payday on Friday, however I Suspect that I will not be paid due to the ongoing discussions with work. That's fine as I am anticipating the worst, and most bills don't go out until nearer 1st Feb.

I will have a clearer idea about money etc next week. For now my plan has to be concentrating on not going over overdrawn on FD of Hfax, being able to pay my cleaner in cash on Thurs (!) and waiting a few days until asking the newly cleared v!rgin card for a 0% cash transfer of 4k.

Yeah...I should work out all of that now really.

Phase two will be easier once the work situation is resolved.
    Baby steps and all that!

I've been trying a meal replacement "shake" this week, I ordered a box of it a few weeks ago when I was still trying to go to work. It's a powder which you mix with water. It's not a diet thing, it's for people too lazy/busy to cook. It's nutritionally balanced and all that.

It has been working out pretty well actually. I think it is about a pound per "shake" and it's tasty enough. I thought it would be good to keep in my desk for emergency lunches (as my emergency lunches had involved pizza hut delivery until then) it's been quite handy with the mixed up sleep pattern and stuff as well. I've got 5 packs of it so good job I like it!!!! See I'm pretty hungry now but it's nearly 1am, no need to start trying to cook something- think I'll have a shake :j:j:j:j:j.

Hi Guys, yes I am ok....
It's been a crazy few weeks. I've been in hospital twice (!) just kidney stones which I've had before. They are incredibly painful though (worse pain than giving birth, as everyone tells me).
I've really been having a tough time also regarding the work situation. The positive outcome hinged on just one thing...and that one thing fell apart. I've been in a right twist trying to get it sorted, but long story short is I've been through hell and I had to get a lawyer. So I now have a £600 legal bill. Well the situation is ongoing and I'm gradually turning the corner in terms of my mood. Also I am yet again standing up to the bullies. I would really love to find a job where I don't get bullied out. Anyway I just had a nice cheap night out with friends and now I'm pretty tired. Just wanted to let you know I'm in one piece! Money and diet wise - pah, literally no progress!
