How do we stop these calls?

We used to get 2-3 unwanted calls per day. We bought a BT 8500 phone a month ago and we've note had a single unwanted call since. It was worth every penny.0

Do you really think these people care that your number is registered with the TPS?0 -
I'm sick of telling them the numbers here are TPS registered.

Yeah TPS is a waste of time. They seem to ignore it these days and it doesn't stop calls from overseas anyway.0

Does anyone have any advice about being plagued with phone calls from accident compensation companies?
An insider once said you have to remain nice to them, the ruder or more agitated you become the more they will hound. Sorry.

Thanks all. Does seem that so many people are plagued by these companies & it's a shame there isn't more that can be done to stop it. I'll have a go at threatening to take them to the small claims court& see how that goes. I'll try a few ways & report back if I have any success. Thanks again.0
