Welcome WantToBeSE :hello: I guess the whole point of this thread (as well as the amazing support it offers!) is to just take small steps, focus on now and today and then over time the bigger picture takes care of it's self. Baby steps is the way to go xDF as at 30/12/16

Good morning everyone, I have not posted for a few days, as I am having a bit of a breakdown. I started a new job at the start of this month, which I was really enjoying then I went into work last week and was not feeling well at all (walls were closing in on me and cold sweats). I took a couple of days off and went to the doctor to be told that I have parainfluenza and it is affecting me balance and co-ordination. Anyway I still have not returned to work and feel that everything is just getting on top of me and I fear that I may lose my job (on trial 3 months).
Anyway rant over, sorry about that I just needed to get out how I feel. My plans for today is to try and catch up with uni work and get some rest. I hope to go into work tomorrow in the hope that I can keep it.0 -

A quick note to anyone suffering from anxiety/worry/depression - we've had a few useful discussions on this thread about coping techniques over the last few days or so.
If you skim over the posts from last week (all of the "What dfw things will you do today?" threads), Ally, DNMS and Foxgloves (and a few others too I think) posted some useful info on coping techniques including apps to download.

MMM - Oh dear, that sounds horrible. Feel better soon.
Just investigated lack of energy bill. Co-op Energy (usually very good & never had any problems with them) have apparently had terrible problems with their electronic billing system since they upgraded/changed it. Customers are supposed to have received a letter explaining that these issues won't be resolved until end of Oct. I haven't had any communications about this at all & was horrified to find that our last bill was April!! Not like me not to spot that. Where did the summer go? As a result, our account is showing as hugely in credit, but by the end of Oct, 6 months of energy charges will appear on it, so I'm doing nothing until I see the figures. Have emailed a letter of complaint. It's not good enough finding out about this problem myself in the FAQs. More the sort of poor service I'd expect from the big energy company I was with previously. Grrrr!
Leisure time now, so can calm down.

Afternoon all,
Thanks for starting CCL, sorry you're poorly MMM
Both days of the weekend ended up being NSDs and we went to Aldi yesterday instead. Today is technically a NSD but I have to pick some locusts up from Pets at Home for our chameleon (my partner's really, I've adopted him!). The OH is going to put some petrol in my car for this and driving him to the hospital tomorrow. He also said he'd buy us a Toby breakfast before we go to the hospital tomorrow (I have a great weakness for all things Toby Carvery) so that'll also be nice!
Back to today:
All meals from stores
Banking checked and spending diary updated
FPL and surveys to do
Drive over to see poochy after work and take her for a walk
Contract to sign for the wedding photographer tonight which I'll post tomorrow. We've tried to be money saving and only hired a photographer for three hours on the afternoon of our wedding (during and after the chapel service). This makes it about £600 cheaper than having a photographer for the whole day. We're getting married in a lovely Chapel at the University where I work so will have some lovely photos in the grounds on the afternoon. We're planning on having some disposable cameras/ asking guests to take photos at the reception!
Might squeeze in the cinema tonight using our unlimited cards if I'm not too knackered!
