Monday 12 Oct - What small DFW things will you do today?

  • Hello :D
I'm back after another long day. Nothing too eventful to report - my mood is very up and down at the moment but luckily today has been mainly flat. I have noticed that I'm starting to turn to comfort food a bit instead of just eating the stuff I batch cooked. I'm finding myself reaching for chocolate which is not good for my purse or waistline.
Dawn - you deserve a medal for all of that late night cooking.
Jojo - sorry you've been so ill. Hope that you are most definitely on the mend now.

    Here's today's list:
[STRIKE]:) check banking (no PAD - I'm broke)[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]:) load of washing[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]:) 15 mins housework and declutter (given up trying to get dh to do this)[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]:) meals from stores[/STRIKE]
:) aim for nsd I put some money into a collection for someone who has left work (due to stress)
[STRIKE]:) heating has been on for 20 minutes this morning, but is off again.[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]:) mark a set of books[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]:) full teaching day[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]:) try really hard not to stress[/STRIKE]

I have also been to my friend's exercise class this evening to get a bit of 'me' time. which was very nice indeed.

    Hi All

Dawn- what a nightmare about your freezer. Really sorry to hear about that.

JoJo- how horrible. Who looked after the children? Having just had a hospital stay myself of a shorter nature I really sympathise at what a worry keeping them safe and organised when you are out for the count can be. Hope you are recovered?

CCL -thanks for the thread today and thinking of you with all the stress and OH situation still.

Foxgloves - did you get a PM from me yesterday?

Today has been quite challenging. But nothing to worry about. Small things. I am also quite skint so not doing anything of note on the repayments front. But all our main bills are paid. Have about £80 to still pay out before the end of the month but I am checking online bank like a hawk.
It's all fairly organised at home still. Managing to keep on top of admin. Cleaning. Washing etc. I am definately not the sort who can just 'let it go let it go' to quote a certain highly irritating popular song :) you have to be who you are don't you.

Right well on that note I am signing off :)

    Hugs to all

    Bob
