Ok, I need to get this off my chest!! So, yesterday I went to Tesco to get some stuff for tonight's dinner. I noticed this lady was staring at me on the same aisle I was on. No biggie. I moved to the next aisle and here she comes again...STARING! So now I'm like, "!!!!!!", but finish up my shopping and head to the check out line.Of course this same lady was ahead of me...starts staring again. Awkward. So I start playing with my phone so I don't have to look at her. Finally she says "I want to apologize for staring at you, but you look just like my son who just passed away." I felt really bad after that and gave her my condolences. She says "thank you...but I have a favor to ask. I understand if you don't want to. Can you give me a hug and say 'bye mum' to me?" Inside I was like "!!!!!!", but me being the softie that I am, I went ahead and did it. She smiles, thanks me, and leaves. The cashier rings up my stuff and the total comes out to £100.87 I knew something wasn't right, because I didn't get much and it should have been like £40 or so. The girl tells me that my total was included with my mum's. I'm like, "What?!!!" she said, "Your mum said you were paying for her last few items along with your things. I told her that the woman was most definitely NOT my mum. She said, well I saw you hug her and heard you call her mum. I flew out of the store looking for this witch, ready to beat her !!!!. I see her loading up her car! She saw me and jumped in her car, I got to her as she was putting her leg in, and I started pulling her leg...JUST LIKE I'M PULLING YOURS!!!! Hope you all are having a wonderful day! X

That REALLY tickled me!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks for all your positive thoughts. Results mid-week so we shall see...
No idea why I had myself so wound up over it this time, I just did :o

I'm off to Scotland to see a friend tomorrow. I had contemplated going this evening but I'm not up for the Friday evening motorway traffic.

In other news, I got my dotcom free shopping bag. Thanks to the OP of that. I also got a razor, think tweets was responsible for that so thanks tweets. Oh and 2 x £7 off £50 from mr T

have a really really lovely weekend, switch your wi fi off and ignore the phone unless its a call from one of your offspring :D

very envious - I've got to choose between Chester and Liverpool, Saturday or Sunday, my own fault for not making a stand and insisting we need a few days away before the weather sets in

Hospitals are very quick now so you don't have time to brood, speculate and start resorting to google. My scan was on Saturday, phone call from the surgery on Tuesday, appointment on Wednesday, new appointment for yet another look see next Monday.

(before anyone goes into full scale panic I am alive and kicking but procedure says I've got a box ticked so who am I to argue with the system)

This place used to be a place for a laugh and to share also for support for those that needed it

Well the few have spoiled it for the many it’s Sad to see the behavior of some of the elite members like small children in the playground and that’s being polite

I have not been posting for a while as its depressing reading here lately and it’s shameful the way some members have behaved towards others

What Is ironic is the same people are more than happy to take advantage of the finds of the very same people they slate

And that speaks volumes about what kind of people they really are. You should hold your heads in shame as the elite thread will dwindle as a result.

All because some of you don’t have the courage or respect for other people to keep quiet.

It’s a shame you did not think of the people that rely on this thread to get luxury items they would otherwise go without rather than focusing on your own selfish feud.:(

Could not have put it better myself Martin
