this is a good point - if you don't have the cards now did you just put your address in or what you thought your registration details were?
we got Oyster cards when we went to see eldest child and I don't think I've registered them yet so that's a job for later - always useful to have even for the occasional visitor.
There was something on MSE about checking your accounts for incomplete trips - you have to scan in and scan out on certain bits.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

I think this makes sense checking out ...I think a lot of people don't bother with the oyster card now as you can use your bank card to do the same job and no £5 deposit to pay ....of course Nannylala is lucky enough to have a Freedom Pass :money: and gets free :Ttravel:T0 -
but you also get a nice chunk of cashback as well so that makes it even better :j
I got 3 of the Christmas baubles for my offsprings three GFs and BF. I am going to put them into little silver gift bags with maybe some shiny chocs bars I'll bring back from the forthcoming hols and maybe a little jewellery set, little notebooks etc - little unusual extravagant indulgent things to treat them.
what I want to convey is that we love and cherish them and appreciate them and the support all three have given to my sons and daughter over the last mind blowing year :j.
Is the discount code one that is allowed by the cashback sites? Or are you taking a chance and adding "chase TCB/QC for cashback that I'm not entitled to" to your to do list? :rotfl:Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »I'm not sure about those "£80+" of coupons mentioned on the right - it seems to me they are all branded items that still, even after the coupons, generally work out more expensive than the equivalent S/P, own label etc. items. I don't need any of the types of items they're referring to anyway - I don't just buy them or have any need for them (or already have stock to last, from previous glitches that worked out far better, frankly, than offer prices available anywhere less the coupons). If there's a glitch on any of the 'coupon' items though, I would be interested:D!:rotfl:
The only one I might buy is the NYC soup. Other than that, I would probably be spending hundreds of pounds on branded items simply to get £80 off. I'm not going to buy any of these items anyway (except possibly the soup) so would just be spending money, far beyond the vouchers. I thought this was supposed to be a money-saving site?:rotfl: So, I've save all the complete cost of the brands by not buying any of the items at all.:rotfl:
I don't need them - I'd still be paying much more than zero pence after any of the coupon use (apart from the NYC soup probably, so I might just get that one item:rotfl:). I wasn't going to buy any of the products that now have the coupons, so if I now did so I'd simply be spending money rather than saving any money.
I really really miss using MOCs even now, years after but I am coming to the conclusion now that the price even after the MOC has been taken off is still more than equivalent non branded things.
For instance Nature Valley granola bars - we only discovered these when there was 50p MOCs and we bought these when they went on offer to £1.50, odd times they have even been in the pound shop. The most normal price is about £2.39
http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/Shopping/FindProducts.aspx?Query=nature%20valley%20granola
They are really nice but for that much money you could probably make your own muesli bars with store cupboard things you already have in stock.
this week in Aldi we found Granola bars that look very similar and after the taste test, also taste similar - again packed in sets of 2 - six bars for 99p
so that's my new bottom line - museli bars for 99p max“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
I don't do tassimo but I know some of you do. Is this a decent deal?

I like to live dangerously - if the cashback does go into the pending list then that is just an added bonus“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
Good morning all
I am back from my holiday in Lanzarote. Weather was brilliant, had a couple of 38 degree days. The weather here is dire, I want to go back
I did start to read back but changed my mind again. I can see there is a little disharmony going on, so will start from here.
I hope everybody is well, or making a recovery from whatever ails them.
Try and make the best of this horrible day everyone xBefore you assume, learn the facts,

I have to share this with you all. Do you remember when we all did the bingo cashback? Well, Caesars didn't pay the £45 cashback as I hadn't met the t&c apparently, so did the usual put in a claim, nudged Tcb several times, but gave up in the end. That was back in Aprl 2013. Would you believe, I have just looked at my emails to find that it has now gone 'payable' Two years it has taken......:beer:Before you assume, learn the facts,
