switching mobile suppliers but staying on same network

I know you cant port a contract to contract on the same network but what if you are on a payg and want to take out a contract through a seller?
This would only work if the new contract was taken out directly with O2 and not a dealer. Most, if not all, dealers do not facilitate migrations as the commission a dealer earns is considerably less than for a new network connection. What you will be best doing is getting pac number and going onto payg, the transfer usualy takes a week. I done it with o2, went from contract to payg back onto a contract with any problems0 -

The phone industry dont seem to care about the reputation they have despite it has a regulator.Stephb1986 wrote: »what ever you do keep clear of carphone warehouse they are a bunch of morons! i've known loads of people who have had problems with them
