Debt Recovery Plus Notice Received from Euro car Parks

Hi
I know its tooooo late.. I overstayed in a private land parking for 20minutes and i didn't notice that when i left the parking - shopping place matalan asda sainsbury and halfords and it is operated by euro carparks. After 10 days i went for a 5 weeks holiday and when i came back, and sorting out the letter found the PCN for £50 and then £90. I quickly done a online research and submitted an enquiry to private parking appeals and for some unknown reasons they haven't responded for 2 weeks. i emailed them and left voice maills and one day one of their rep asking for the copy of the letters and they said they couldn't find my enquiry, but they received my payment through paypal. So no i got debt recovery notice received and the date was 2/10/15 and parking appeals said they can't do anything.
So please help what i have to do now. take the risk and avoid the debt letters or contact euro car parks? I haven't get a chance to contact euro car parks as i thought private parking appeals will do the same for me.
What will be the outcome, if they take me to the court? bit worried...

Complain to the store you were in - do you have receipts or bank statements to show if you purchased anything? If you can, get them to cancel it with Euro.
Euro are fairly tame at the minute although that might change when the Supreme Court ruling on Beavis v PE comes in later this month.Je Suis Cecil.0 -
I contacted the store and even their HQ customer service and they are saying the land/parking is not controlled by the store. Its a private land owned by Jones Lang Iasalle. I don't know it is worth trying to contact them at this stage. This is the first experience for me, and bit worried to go the court procedures. Am i still able to contact euro car parks at this stage? I didn't contact them yet..
Thanks0 -
Tell them you will have to return the goods to pay the parking charge.0

Have you contacted Jones Laing Lasalle?
Have you had any debt collector letters yet?
Try an appeal to ECP using the template in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky and see what they come back with. Don't add or take out anything from it; use it word for word. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Where in the UK was this?0

Post four of the Newbies Sticky deals with DRP completely - have a good read of that and stop worrying!

Also, where in the UK this happened is an important factor. Depending on where, it might be worth pushing ECP/Landowner for a cancellation or not0 -
Hi thanks for the reply and it was happened in oxford - oxfordshire0

That rules out the complete IGNORE process. I asked because ECP are quite prominent here in Scotland where IGNORE is the current advice.0
