P.S. So I've used 2 big bowls of pears up today. Then I had a little walk down the garden to empty the compost caddy & picked up nearly as many as I'd just used! And there are still loads on the tree. Can see pears will be featuring on further of my lists this week.
F x2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!0 -

Evening DFW-Ninjas,
Late check-in for me.
Feeling 70% today.
Looks like there is light at then end of this tunnel.
Just a short list today as pressed for time.
Debt-Free Nillionaire Month 4:
* Check broadband allowance.
* Do GfK surveys.
* Made homemade dumplings to go in the stew for dinner. OH likes the cheap packet dumpling mix but we'd run out so I made some old-style.
* Worked hard.
* Did free relaxation App.
Catch you later folks.

Thanks everyone for always having a good and kind word for me. I will rant and rave properly on my diary. Day has been a bit up and down - I need a few minutes to myself and a good cry and a good night's sleep and I'll be fine tomorrow.crazy_cat_lady wrote: »Morning all
I feel a bit _pale_ this morning. It's been another long night... Never mind.

Hi All
Am very envious of all you pear people. I have not had any on my trees and most sadly of all Not one autumn raspberry. Normally I am giving away jam, giving away fruit and wondering what to do with all the fruit and this year, nothing. Zilch, nowt. Such a shame. I will no longer take the autumn raspberry glut as a right. In future I will thank each plant as I strip the goodies from the leaf etc etc. Anyway, yes I have fruit envy.
Not a bad year for cooking apples though, so we will not starve!
Hope Bob is OK and everyone else is thriving. Sometimes this mse lark can be daunting. Here I am refusing to think about the unpaid farm invoices and focusing on my office job. Will be glad to see next april none the less.
Have a good night everyone.

I know I'm quite late in the day to be posting, but here goes....
Firstly, I only spent £1 today, that was only as the tea fund was due
Secondly, but far more importantly, I worked out a proper budget, down to the last £1 - this is a massive breakthrough for me.... going to be a daily working progress I feel.
Thanks for the inspiration everyone less is moreDebt free goal: £158.27/£5647.13, savings goal, £0/£1000, nest egg goal: £100/£5000
