I've been getting points left right and centre and racking up one or two vouchers a month, but it's now going to take me about 6 months to get £5 based on typical spend rates. I shop with them for convenience; if someone else took over the same store I'd switch to them, unless it was Aldi or Lidl and their policy of not accepting credit cards, They probably did over-egg the scheme to try to grab market share but this move makes it almost useless as an incentive to shop there.0

Looks like their Christmas bonus scheme is changing too. In the past, you have had to spend £40+ say 6 out of 7 weeks to qualify for a Christmas shopping voucher. Looks like this year you have to spend over £90 per week0

They are now taking a road to the receivers. They had a choice of the Lidl / Aldi road which is a winning road at present or the failing Tescos road - they choose the laterDo you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring0

More reasons to shop at Aldi
Just popped to Asda this morning for a few items, I'm amazed at the prices of stuff in there. Stuff you can get for x.67p or x.89p elsewhere all rounded up to £. And they claim they are cheaperty cheap! :rotfl:0 -

Do not know if this is supposed to be a Christmas variant.0 -
Looks like there are several different variants, I guess depending on your current spend pattern.
Our vouchers are for a £30 spend, getting an extra 500 or 1000 points each week (varies). If we do 5 out of 6 weeks ther's an extra 10,000 points.
Colleague at work has the £50 one but more points each week (2-3000) but no extra for completing most of the weeks.
And another colleague had the £90 one but couldn't remember the points....0 -

....
Ah that answers why my vouchers are for a £50 spend. I shop every week at morrisons and my spend is about £40-£45.
So they want to get a little bit more out of me before giving some points back. It worked this week.:(0 -
i spend around £45 most weeks and my email is a one-off 5,000 points for a £40 spend, nothing for following weeks0
