I wish I had an Aldi or Lidl near me but the only choice is Tesco,Morrison's or the Co op ,and the latter is the most expensive of the three.

Just lately everything Morrisons do is against the customers interest.
Has anyone noticed the difference in price per kilo between large and small packs of fruit. You pay twice the price per kilo for blueberries in a small pack compared to a large pack. A few weeks ago a single Nectarine was 79p but only 39p in Aldi. Talk about ripping off the singles and the elderly living alone. My bill which we are told is at least stable or falling has increased by approx £8 per week over the summer. As a pensioner that's a lot of money
Now they change the rules so we get less in points. Everyone knows the only points worth having are those given by "Boots" I recommend buying the Daily Mail news paper and saving the points from the back. Over a period of a few months I save enough to get £20 pounds off at Morrisons. Money for nothing as It's the paper I buy anyway.

Supermarkets are very territorial and look at catchment (especially the co-op) Luckily i've got a Morrisons and Lidl within 5 minutes walk.

Morrison's here relocated to up to a brand new store recently. It's only about 200 yards from a Lidl which is perpetually busy.

They're under-performing on that site, despite it being x20 more to build/maintain than the Lidl store. The staff (understandably) look glum.

This downgrade of a 'slightly useful' card into a windscreen ice scraper may well be the straw that broke then camel's back!

If any chain-store wants a loyalty scheme they first need to commit to their customers, and not just jump ship when the balance-sheet waters get choppy.

We have £95 worth of vouchers collected up ready to spend at Christmas and we are likely to get another voucher before the system changes.

It was good while it lasted :)

Unless you get different vouchers to me, they all have an expiry date of a couple of weeks so I use mine up as I get them.

The £5 Match & More vouchers last a lot longer than that - I can't remember the exact period but it's way over two weeks, a year I think.
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.

I think it may even be more like 2 years.

The £5 I received the other day is valid for a year.

The £5 vouchers last 12 months. It's the extra money off and extra points vouchers that the till kicks out occasionally that have a 2 to 4 week life:)

Well as others have said it was a good scheme for some. I have £100 worth of vouchers saved in the last 9 months ready for the christmas shop (wonder how many others have done this also).
Im abit disappointed with Morrisons as I regularly shop there after leaving Mr T. They seemed reasonable value, good fish/meat/deli/bakery. However as others have said recently I have noticed the prices they charge for items have increased. The fruit/veg has a short life before spoiling and now no real reward for shopping with them.
I will still continue to shop with them but probably nowhere near the big shop I do now. Ive started buying more and more things from Lidl the past few months and by the looks of how busy its become I am not the only one.
