price match is finishing though which is the real killer....I`ve been spending £15 on fuel and getting 2 of their source energy drinks at the same time you get 500 points on the 2 drinks on the price match and 140 points for the fuel. Doing 200 miles a day in my job means I was getting a £5 voucher every week, will take a lot longer now.I have 5 Nationwide referrals available. If you want £100 for switching to Nationwide PM me:beer:0

Will miss the price matching. Could get a £5 voucher from one shop. Glad the minimum spend is going though. It's all better than nothing though. I have a pile of £5 vouchers waiting to be used at ChristmasZebras rock0

Its true Morrison's are changing the Match and More scheme which they are fully in their right to do and it was a very good while it lasted.
I however object to the way they have devalued the scheme and blame it on Morrison's customers not being able to understand the "Comparable" shopping part which is where you would earn the most points from. Its a smoke screen for them to get rid of this as what is there not to understand about your shopping being price matched and you get the value back in points.
Its laughable as its like saying "You do not understand the discount? dont worry we will sell it to you at full price as not to confuse you!!!"
You will now have to spend £1000 to get £5 unless you buy products with bonus offers which you would not usually buy.
Here is the reason they are saying they are changing it on their FAQ's page:
Why is Morrisons changing the Match & More card?
Since launching Morrisons Match & More, we have been listening to what our customers think about the scheme and there is a lot they like about Match & More, such as being rewarded with points and getting £5 vouchers, which will not change. But, there are some elements they found complicated, like how our price matching works. Our customers have also told us that they would like to earn points on every transaction which hasn't always been the case previously, so we have responded by making these changes to simplify how customers earn points.
If you go to the FAQs sectin you can read this:0 -
The points have to be paid for somewhere and it can only be in prices.
Same as the now extinct "free"plastic carrier.0 -
Just in by email:

So if something is now more expensive in Tesco/asda you don't get the match and more points.??
will this mean they will increase their prices again as they won't have to pay out in points if they get it wrong?
it was a good deal as I amassed £65 in 8 months for xmas spends don't think much of the new deal .0 -
I just got the email about it. It was the main reason for shopping in Morrisons - that and the fact that they bombarded me with money-off coupons for a while. Now they've stopped and "Match" has been ditched and replaced with a miserly £5 for a £1,000 spend, it's not worth it - Asda is cheaper anyway and Sainsbury's keep sending me £10 and £12 vouchers.2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.0

I`ve always thought that anything with points is little more than a gimmick.
Asda never went down that road and nor has Aldi and Lidl.
Prices are all that counts, the lower the better.0 -
