Did it deduct the £50 from your price? If not, did you click on 'Add Code' when you inputted the code?
Legally, they are not obliged to honour the £50, and Easyjet are not known for goodwill, so I would cancel.
Yes, i clicked on 'add code' no red writing came up stating that all the codes had been used etc
Only thing is, to cancel at the price of £17.50 each has to be done within 24 hours, so even if i write to them i wont get a response in this time!!MSE has changed me for the better!!DD1 arrived 15/5/11, ]:money:0 -
What did the final price say though? Did that have £50 off?Gone ... or have I?0

No, i was under the impression (based on what others have said) it came up at the very very very end once you'd entered ALL your details in, and it never said that the voucher had been used to capacityMSE has changed me for the better!!DD1 arrived 15/5/11, ]:money:0

If the £50 was not deducted from the final page, then I am afraid it was not successful.
The page where you input your card details states:The total amount that will be charged to your card is:
It then asks you to tick to confirm that you agree to the terms and conditions, and the cancellation policy.
Finally, the final button that you click states:Book Now
Sorry I can't give you more positive advice, but Easyjet are definitely under no obligation to knock £50 off your booking.Gone ... or have I?0 -
Terms and conditions state:
If you are not the first to complete payment and thus do not qualify for the discount, we will give you the opportunity to abandon your booking before payment is made.
Did they give you this opportunity? if not may be worth pursuing this so you won;t have to pay to cancel.

The opportunity was given because it did not deduct the £50 from the final amount.
In the situation that Easyjet describes in their t & c's, you are given the opportunity to abandon the booking, I have gone through the process and checked.
However, unfortunately Rachael accepted the terms and conditions, and agreed to the final price.Gone ... or have I?0 -
