I imagine they are just saying it to cover their own backs, in case the system lets too many bookings through. In this case, I would hope that, if they did cancel bookings, they would do so free of charge.

It sounds like the same idea as the Oasis Airlines free single ticket offer. You do not know if you have been successful until you have paid for a return ticket!

mine was confirmed, i had the holiday to paris lined up and wham a £200 discount. Bags x 2, speedy boarding, nice hotel, upgraded room, breakfast, good flights all for £11
