Definitely - if is misses the guaranteed date provided when the order was placed they will give you a free month of Prime so it's always worthwhile letting them know.0 -
I noticed the same (not getting orders next day repeatedly with Amazon Prime). Given that UK Amazon Prime costs so much (and having a security issue with Amazon that I wasn't satisfied was dealt with properly), I didn't renew my prime membership.
I haven't missed them, and I've saved a fortune. It was just too easy to order every little thing on Prime. Normally I find items are cheaper on ebay when you take into account postage. As I was waiting a couple of days for the item to arrive on Prime, its not slower to order from Ebay anymore.
Personally, I think Amazon is getting a little arrogant.0 -
non prime member here , they have sacked/removed most of my local collection points (spar etc) and replaced them by post offices and post office lockers , what happens now is that the parts are sent (2nd class) via royal mail to a royal mail post office , what used to be a 2-3 day delivery for me (courier to local spar) is now a 5 - 7 working day affair
only goods that are amazon stock or fulfilled by amazon are ever ordered0 -

If it is going to a Post Office then its Local Collect Tracked.
Generally a 48 hour service.0 -

that is NOT 48 hrs ! which was the case when it was delivered by courier to a local spar shop
Not really sure what the capitals are for.
I'm telling you the service they use. Its not 2nd class.
It has over a 90% delivery timescale success rate.0 -
but they are not sending the parcels out for over 48 hrs , this is after all what this thread is on about.
amazon seem to have changed a lot , dispatch times , collection points and its got worse for the end user
90% is not good , if I were buying from an ebay seller with a 90% success rate I would be worried , just as well royal mail do not deliver transplant parts0 -

Well they offer services from Sameday upwards.
Amazon are ruthless,always pushing the margins.0 -

We've had a few Prime orders take 2+ days (out of hundreds of orders). I always email customer services to whinge and sometimes they add an extra month to our Prime by way of an apology.
