Goodness ! It's been 2 weeks since my last post! I'd intended to post at least weekly but it has felt like someone pressed the "Fast Forward" button on my life (I guess that must have been me). :rotfl:
It's been a busy fortnight - lots of Coaching work coming in from the organisations that refer to me. One of them had a Black Friday sale so I got 4 clients through on Friday (this one doesn't pay too well but I like, and am glad of, the work).
I finally got around to being proactive and followed up on some contacts. One of them got back to me almost immediately about a very positive potential opportunity in her organisation in the New Year - PLUS - said she'd like to talk to me about having some individual Coaching Sessions (another Coach had recommended me !). Also the Coach who had recommended me (henceforth know as my guardian angel :A)- contacted me to ask me to cover a 2 day facilitating job of hers in a couple of weeks time. The money is great (I will earn in 2 days what I took home in a month at my old job!!!). So I'm busy planning for that at the moment.
So fantastic news - I am incredibly happy AND struck by the fact that things going well also feels very scary  - I am absolutely not complaining though - I am very grateful for everything that is coming to me I feel very fortunate and it makes me think that I must have been doing something right in the planning and the setting up AND that the direction that I am heading must be the right one.
So at the end of month 2 - another month of earning enough to cover the bills & I still haven't had to break in to my little financial buffer. Thanks to the facilitating job December looks on track too!
I'm actually looking forward to a quiet period over the Holidays to take stock - there are some things that I need to work on - the rhythm of my work (currently chaotic), looking after my voice (I've noticed that my vocal cords are getting very tired with all the talking) & developing the Coaching I do around weight control through Conscious Eating - that'll be a good one to have ready for the New Year.
I'd love to know how everyone else is doing.:jShifting my energy for 20200 -
Wow! You have had a busy 2 weeks and it all sounds so promising on the work front, I'm really pleased for you!
I'm still working hard at busting my debts and each pay day feels good when I make large payments, I'm PADding too which makes a difference in the statements but I don't notice it on my bank balance.
Work is a mare but hoping some changes due in the new year will make it less stressful.
Glad you're doing well,

A PAD is a 'payment a day' there's a thread on the challenges board. The object is to try and make an extra payment towards your debts each day. I round down my bank account so for example this morning it was £1632.33 so I shaved off the £2.33 and made that as a payment to Halifax credit card. My statements may be longer but my interest charges are lower haha :rotfl:
It's not compulsory but the thread is supportive and there's a nominated 'counter-upper each month to do daily total for those taking part.
It's all about the little wins

What a great idea ! I can see how that works. Great feeling that every day you are making headway towards your goal. I like it - as you say "little wins"Shifting my energy for 20200

Hi All - Just popping in for my weekly update. Feeling pretty tired just now as I've been on a course since Friday - 3 full days 9.30-5.30. It's been fantastic - learned so much. Full of enthusiasm for trying out my new skills and techniques. Because I was on the course I only worked 4 days last week but earned enough to keep me ticking over. I've got a few clients booked for this coming week then my facilitating job at the end of the week. After that I imagine things will go quiet for a couple of weeks. Thankfully because the facilitating job pays well I can afford to relax and have a bit of time off over Christmas. It will be great to have a chance to rest and to plan.
How are you all doing?Shifting my energy for 20200
