  • Hi Stressedmum - DS is fine now thanks - he bounced straight back (I took a little longer :rotfl:). You are right - its important to listen to your body. Funnily enough I felt I had loads of energy today and got loads of organising done so the rest must have done me good. Have a good week :)

  • I hope you all had a good start to the New Year.

It took me a good few days to readjust to work - it was hard snapping out of that Christmas bubble - especially as for most of the week I was at home and had to exert all of my willpower just to not laze around and watch Netflix! It ended up being a busy week as on top of the Coaching sessions I had booked I had quite a few people contacting me to pick up with things we'd discussed before Christmas.

I've got a busy week next week - Going out for a planning day with a colleague I do Consultancy work with, training Fri - Sun & taking the day off on Weds for my birthday (at the moment a day in bed is looking most attractive) - so I will have to squash all the rest of my work in the remaining days. Really not complaining though - I'm very happy to be busy :)

I hope you all have a good week :)

Hi All - Can't believe I haven't posted for so long - the last 2 weeks have felt like a blur.

I had a significant dip in mood during my birthday week. Looking back it was just a combination of tiredness, the time of year & the pressure we can sometimes put on ourselves that things need to be a certain way on special occasions but at the time it felt horrible. I felt quite down and low energy and had 3 full days training scheduled at the weekend when all I really wanted to do was take to my bed & pull the duvet over my head. It felt hard to get through it in some ways and I came down with a cold immediately after but things have really shifted for me since then and I feel a lot more positive. I'm now qualified to coach Teams & Pairs.

Last week was a busy Coaching week but because I had a cold I prioritised resting when I wasn't Coaching and I can feel I am on the mend. I have got very behind on household chores etc though & the chaos has started to get me down. I had planned to do my Tax Self Assessment on-line this weekend and can't believe I hadn't realised I have to wait for an activation code to come in the post - I'm really cutting it fine with the deadline !! I think there is a theme of "could be more organised" :rotfl:

A busy week yet again next week - I am attending a conference for 2 days and the plan is to network my little socks off while I'm there. I've never approached an event like this before & in the past have thought of myself as someone who doesn't enjoy networking - it'll be interesting to see how it goes...

Hope you are all well - I'd love to know how you are all doing.

Hope you're fighting fit now somerandom. I hate this time of year for getting ill and rundown although touch wood, I've been ok. Normally have something or other so I'm pleased :)

Hope you've been networking those socks off and that something good has come of it.

I'm off this week so I feel great. A few more days to enjoy before the doom feeling sets in :rotfl:

    Have a good week :)
