Peugeot call it EOLYS fluid, it is injected into the tank when you open the fuel filler, so if you keep opening it, to add £5 worth of diesel all the fluid gets used up.
Adblue is injected into the exhaust to get rid of oxides of nitrogen, I did read that that is what VWs do as soon as they detect they are being emssion tested.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....
It's suggested that this is one of the 'upgrades' that VW will have to do as a result of the emissions scandal. Urea is used in the exhaust to separate nasty nitorgen oxide into nice nitrogen and water.
