There should be no problem with only 5litres of petrol with 55 litres of diesel.

ASAP add 250ml of 2-stroke oil - as used in lawn-mowers etc.

When the tank gets to half top up with another 30 litres of diesel.

Lots of people add a litre or 2 of petrol in periods of intense cold to prevent waxing so it'll be fine.

All tasks now completed - car is still working ok and had first top up.

One other thing to ask is why is it you very often see people at service station with the breakdown services having their tanks pumped out.

It it they were probably nearly empty and put a full tank of wrong fuel in?

What is the reason to have this 'Magic Fluid'?

It's a fluid containing Cerium which acts as a catalyst to lower the temperature at which regeneration of the DPF can take place, I believe.

The 'magic fluid' wouldn't be AdBlue would it?

Or is that just taking the pi$$ seeing as there is urea involved. :rotfl:

Peugeot call it EOLYS fluid, it is injected into the tank when you open the fuel filler, so if you keep opening it, to add £5 worth of diesel all the fluid gets used up.

Adblue is injected into the exhaust to get rid of oxides of nitrogen, I did read that that is what VWs do as soon as they detect they are being emssion tested.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(except air quality and Medical Science ;))

It's suggested that this is one of the 'upgrades' that VW will have to do as a result of the emissions scandal. Urea is used in the exhaust to separate nasty nitorgen oxide into nice nitrogen and water.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
