refunded twice by catalogue

I know this doesn't belong here but i think it's along similar lines. I bought something from a catalogue a while ago and wanted to return it there was a bit of misunderstanding and I was refunded immediately over the phone. That was about a month and half ago. I returned the tv 4 days ago logged into my catalogue and they've refunded me again. My balance is now lower than my buy now pay later. What do I do? The refund is approx 500. 1000 refunded in total.

  • Let them know.

Or failing that, ensure you don't spend the money as they will want it back when they discover the error.

Seriously? You call them and let them know a mistake has been made and they've refunded you twice.
  • Seriously I don't think I'll be letting them know. What r my rights is what I'm asking for not stupid sarcastic comments.
  • U must be stupid if u think I'm going to just ring up straight away before I even know where I can stand and actually save money. When this happens to u I hope the first thing u do is..... seriously tell them straight away.

You know what you should do both morally and legally. This money isn't yours and how you could think about keeping it is shocking!
Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

Spend it. Live the dream. Then come back and post another thread looking for advice when they ask for the money back and you can't afford it anymore.
  • I'm not trying to break any laws here. I'm trying to find out what I can do. If I don't have to give the money back then I won't simple as that. Don't even start about shocking and all that coz that's bs there's plenty more shocking things going on believe u me. Now..... how do u know the money doesn't legally belong to me?
