I keep paying my debt as soon as the money hits my account that way I'm not tempted to buy anything using that money I think that's what's helping me stay on track this time :)

This morning me and DD are off food shopping, I have a list all ready and prices against everything so I know how much it will cost, This week I have decided I'm going to treat me and DD to a McDonalds breakfast which can come out of the food budget, I have paid so much debt off that a treat isn't going to break the bank once in a while :)

  • I came in £8.65 under budget even with the breakfast and dogs food plus bulk buying toilet roll. It is so easy seeing how much I have spent now without adding it all up and messing about, only food/household items and pets food budget items are going on the credit card from now on then I know I am staying on budget, I have stopped buying the dog loads of new treats as when we first got him he was spoilt rotten but he's slowly getting through the bones he already has (he had 15 at one point):eek:

Well I'm off to clean the house through as I know how to live :rotfl:

  • You really are doing brilliantly, And I am totally nicking the purse/picture idea!

    happy house cleaning :) XX
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Not a lot happening this week, my ebay stuff has no bids but a lot of watchers so fingers crossed people will bid last minute. I'm taking DD and her friend to the fair on Saturday night she's really looking forward to it. She hasn't had a treat for ages and I can just about afford to take her.

It's going to be very quiet until the Friday when I can pay a bit more off my friends debt :)

  • £18 worth of bids so far on ebay, they finish at 8pm tonight so fingers crossed a few more bids will be made and I can put it in the bank on Saturday towards my over draft. Only one of the two so far are selling but there are a lot of watchers on both I'm taking this as a good sign. I really need to get my backside into gear this weekend and put a lot more on as it will also clear my house out a bit, well off to work :)
